fairly good sandwich but as others have noted, really pricey. they have a huge menu on the wall when you walk in and... conveniently in the top corner it says prices may vary. however, i find it really dishonest when sandwiches are an extra $1-2more than what's on their menu. ordered a madison bumgarner and on the wall it's listed as 12.95. order rang up to 14.41, beforetax, so ended up paying close to $16 for 1 sandwich. Was really excited to visit Ike?s after not having eaten there since college a few years ago. When we showed up on Saturday... evening (yesterday) around 7 and they loudly announced they had a $200 order and it would be at least a 30 min wait. Wedetermined we were willing to wait and went to go order. However, we ended up standing at the counter for 5+ mins waiting forsomeone to take our order while the 3 staff (2 males & a female) were right there next to us just totally ignoring the fact thatwe still wanted to get our order in- it was like getting ghosted in person. During this time other people would walk in line andthey would only break their ?ghosting? to shout ?we have a $200 order it?s gonna be at least 30 mins? while proceeding to STILLnot take our order or at least say that they won?t be taking orders. The bearded guy in the chiefs shirt clearly wanted tocreate an uninviting situation to make people leave instead, which they did when they saw they wouldn?t even take our order atthe front of the line. So rude. So, we decided to sit down until they were ready to take our order. About 15 mins later someonewalks in and they decide to take their order. It really rubbed us the wrong way that 1. They wouldn?t even acknowledge theyweren?t going to take orders, and 2. They knew we were waiting to order and then took someone else?s order knowing we werewaiting. Only then did we get in line to take our order. Sandwiches were good but we spent an hour there, where more than halfthe time was spent with treatment like they wanted us to go away. Oh yeah, we never even saw the person come in for their $200order that needed to be ready in 30 mins during the hour we were there. Overall, I was disappointed they so heavily prioritizedtheir online order over the people coming in. Sandwiches taste good. Drawback is they are super slow. There are more than 5,6 staff, but they were just chatting with each... other and only one person was working. That?s why you have to wait at least 20 min each time to get your sandwich afterordering. Read more

I LOVE Ike's ?? I was turned on to their incredible Sandwiches up in Fresno when visiting my Son. I was very excited to find out... Ike's is opening more locations in San Diego and that they're conveniently located to places I frequent too ?????? Their DutchCrunch bread they make in house is amazing and their Yellow BBQ sauce is awesome??Sooooo many choices... they also have a lot ofchoices for Vegetarian and Vegan peeps if you're so inclined. First time here because it was my first full day of work at my office close by, I figured I familiarize myself with the nearest... sandwhich spot so I can see if it would be a good go-to for my lunches. Little did I know getting there, waiting 30 minutes forthe food, and then driving back would take my entire lunch break and then some. Now (clients think I?m doing work stuff, rightnow but I?m typing this review) my sandwhich is getting cold because I didn?t get a fair chance to even take a bite. I get it?slunch hour. But it?s a $20 sandwhich including the tip and tax, at least prioritize the ones with tip. Holy cow. Will be tryingcroutons next and if all fails, good ol subway will always be there. First time here but I am a sandwich lover so had to check it out. A wide selection of 30+ sandwiches. I got the Matt Cain of... turkey, roast beef and salami with "godfather sauce", (no idea what that is but good). Place was busy but quick. Sandwich waspretty plentiful and the Dutch Crunch bread is always awesome. Will definitely return. Oh, and you get a caramel apple lollipopwith your sandwich too. Read more
