We wanted to have Mexican on our honeymoon so we stopped here. You know you're in the right place when people are constantly... coming in and out. California burrito was fantastic. Nice thin pieces of carne asada, not the chunks that more and more places are using. Took it... to the airport as travel food, and it was still hot over 2 hours after I bought it. They also have excellent salsa Verde, with abit of a kick to it. Read more

OMG!! We were going to leave once we entered the parking lot but so glad that we decided to order. We've eaten at many... "Authentic" Mexican restaurants but this place is truly authentic. Everything was simple, fresh, and well seasoned, from thequac to the rice and beans, to the hot sauces and lastly the shrimp quesadillas. The gentleman taking the order was very patientand knowledgeable...I had many questions. We will definitely be coming back on pur next trip to San Diego. Low key place with really good tacos and burritos. The place is not fancy, its a little hidden off Rosecrans. The menu is fairly... simple. I recommend the surf and turf burrito and regular fish taco. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in San Diego. Read more
