Food is pretty good, takes a while to get done, but at least you know its being cooked fresh

Restaurant is understaffed, cooks are in the back trying to keep up with delivery orders, while patrons sit and wait patiently... like bumps on a log in the dining room. Not the staff's fault. Management needs to make sure the workload makes sense for theamount of employees available or reviews will tank. I love this restaurant, but the last three visits have taken an incredibleamount of time to get a very small order to go. The phones are ringing non-stop while even the front of house staff is in theback helping make orders, no good. Read more

They convey one price and charge you more when you pay . I noticed after I had already paid and given my receipt. The manager... would only offer to refund me my money and no food. He specifically said you can get the refund or just take it for what itis. I politely said put yourself in my shoes as a consumer, how is it my fault you have one price on the menu and then chargeme more at paying . * BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Read more

Good spot for island comfort food. The BBQ is always tasty, and the Filipino sausage musubi served here is a family favorite... (local take on the claddic spam musubi using longinisa instead of spam). The fact that they gave us water cups to use while wewaited in order to have something to sip on was a vey nice touch. The bench along the wall needs to be re-upholstered, butotherwise thr place appeared well kept. The restroom is coin-op here, and parking can be a bit tricky as the lot is small andit is normally busy due to the Starbucks and Panda Express drive-throughs, but these are minor things if you are looking for agood Hawaiian BBQ spot close to the 32nd St. Naval Base.
