Beyond impressed. Stopped by and it was 40 for two cheesesteaks but damn was it worth it. Probably the best cheesesteak I?ve had... ever. Chipotle Aioli is hands brown the best. Try the Winfrey or go classic you can?t miss!!! Read more
They dropped the ball on my first visit. First of all, the sandwiches generally include onions, but anything else you want on a... sandwich is a small upcharge. I didn't want onions, so I requested a cheesesteak "sub banana peppers for onions." They werehappy to take the onions off, but that didn't eliminate the upcharge for the banana peppers. That's okay, it's only 75¢. I paidit on my card without comment. Three minutes later, they came out and told me that they were out of banana peppers. Whoops. Theydidn't immediately offer to refund me the 75¢, and I didn't really care, but it's slightly annoying to have pay for somethingyou can't have. Also, don't nickel and dime your customers. If I ask to eliminate something, that's a savings for you. Extendthe customer some courtesy, and do a substitution for no extra charge. The sandwich I received was good, if slightly boring. Read more
So many options on DoorDash. I landed on Lefty's, what a nice landing! Ordered 2 Italian Cheesesteaks/Hoagie's (regular and... large) both had Xtra meat and cheese and I added bacon to the regular. It taste like I had a Lasagna with Steak sandwiche!!Tasty!! We both have 1/2 our sandwiches left. Thank you San Diego for introducing me to Lefty's!!!! Read more
Good cheese steaks. Love that they let you customize but with additional charges. Mediocre customer service. There was only 1... young lady was taking orders and processing them. Highly recommend big poppa and lefty?s cheese steak sandwiches added greenpeppers. Soft, fluffy bread. I thought I did a review for this awesome establishment. Oh I'll do one now I've eaten here on several occasions and time my... tummy is so ???? happy. The first time I had a Lefty's Cheesesteak and it just what I had been craving since I moved to SanDiego, a place that served a real Cheesesteak and hogies. That had all the right ingredients and no extras, the cheese, onions,and meat was the perfect blend. They put so much meat on it. As I ate this masterpiece I realized that I was humming. For thosethat know me, know that is sign of good food. When I have a taste for a Cheesesteak but I don't want that much food, I get theCheesesteak Egg Roll. So yummy and it doesn't weigh you down. The dipping sauce that come with it is something else. The staffis friendly, courteous, polite, and they make you feel welcome. Even when it gets really busy the staff still treats thecustomers with respect. I could go on and on about how I love this place ???? but I'll leave something to your imagination. Read more
Wow!! Owned by family, this is the place to come for delicious food. No joke! We ordered a Lefty's cheesesteak hoagie, curly... fries, Garlic Parm and Salt Pepper wings, a chicken hoagie with cheese on the side....It was a feast! Super delicious cheesesteaks! Everything from bread to meat was made perfectly. Very friendly and cool staff. Reasonably priced,... well worth the meal. Strongly recommended. The back patio is also a quiet and calm place to sit. All in all, this was one of mybest meals in San Diego. Would love to go back. Read more
