Used to love ordering from Nick The Greek when I lived in Santa Cruz. Never ordering from this bunch of absolute clowns ever... again. Paid $13.50 for a ?salad? that literally contained a few pieces of hard pita bread, a few leaves of spinach andliterally two pieces of chicken. Looked absolutely nothing like the photo on the menu. Daylight robbery. Absolute joke. Mywife?s food was hard and cold, and her salad had zero dressing. Greek tragedy!!! Read more

The gyro pita was tender and flavorful. Don?t miss out on the Greek fries. ???????? The melted feta makes all the difference.... Delicious! Nice casual spot to grab a bite in downtown San Diego. Read more

Pretty good food. I got the soup which was delicious. My friends got various bowls which were good too. Huge portions. We didn't... end up finishing quite a bit of the stuff we got. It's definitely not upscale but a nice place to sit and chat while enjoyinggood food. Read more

Having eaten at Greek restaurants before, I can?t compare it to the authenticity. It?s just not the same. But the best example I... can give you is that this is Greek version of Chipotle, with a bit pricier menu. Look, you can?t compare Chipotle to authenticMexican food, but it is good for what it is. Nick the Greek offers big portions, tasty food and a very clean and neatlyorganized establishment. Their service is good and there is a nice seating area outside as well. Pictured is a falafel bowl andNick?s fries with lamb gyro. Read more

Great friendly staff and good food. Got the gyro bowl and the rice had a wonderful lemon flavor which completed the veggies and... meat. Their spicy yogurt sauce wasn't very spicy, I couldn't taste any heat. The tzatziki was good but the bowl needed somechili or garlic sauce to break up the richness of the other ingredients. The latest location for Nick The Greek, is on J Street near walking distance from the Park Blvd Trolley Stop, the Public Library... and Petco Park. This establishment touched all the bases for a Home Run! Great efficient service and friendly staff, in a veryclean small indoor area with an outdoor patio. My lamb gyros was very good??.The takeout packaging was top notch too. I will beback and bring others. Read more

Both were amazing, very good fries as well. Beer on tap and greatservice. Will definitely come back here, was on the slightly expensive side $35 for two. Read more
