What an amazing experience in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. Not only is it close to everything, it's in a very bustling area... with tons of other restaurants and things to do. Amazing service, great food, attention to detail and truly the bestingredients with this menu. Definitely pricier than some other spots, however, couldn't recommend this enough for date night orevery night. We sat outside and loved the atmosphere! If we're ever in San Diego again, this is on our list. Read more
2/5 for ambiance, otherwise you could make much better basic penne a la vodka and a very basic pizza at home. The prices... aren’t terrible, but the food was a solid 1 star. Not much flavor; soggy pizza crust, the warm bread and butter was the besttakeaway. It’s a shame because it’s a bougie looking place we came to celebrate an accomplishment of students who traveledacross the country and did their presentations today - try the places next door instead. OP is a restaurant that I always visit when I am in San Diego. It is the oldest Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp quarter, and... it never disappoints.
