Not a great experience, went to this place was going to get a BBQ chicken pizza, but the guy at the counter suggest we could get... a split pizza so we did half BBQ chicken and half Hawaiian. We got the pizza and went straight home to enjoy it warm, but oncewe got home we discovered that is was a Hawaiian pizza. Which was a bummer because we originally wanted the BBQ chicken pizza. We called them, but they are unable to give even a partial refund and claim that the cook was told just a Hawaiian pizza. Not agreat experience at this place, as I was starving and it was supposed to be my dinner after work. Read more

Best pizza so far in San Diego. Thin crust, fresh toppings, fairly priced and a hard working pizza chef who puts some love in... his pizza?s. Will recommend and will definitely come again. Read more

It?s fast and delicious. However, I may need to ask for a side of marinara because last time I checked. Pizza usually has sauce... anytime I?ve ever bit into a slice. But this place was lacking in the sauce department, there?s multiple slices to choose from. But I either got unlucky or this is the way it is. The crust isn?t too bad but I can tell the slices have been laying therefor awhile. So for 2 big slices and a can of soda ( $10 ) isn?t too bad Read more

I've been trying to get out to try all the various independent pizza places in SD, and found this place after scouring some... reddit posts regarding good NY-style pizza in the city. I was super pleased to find they were open on a lazy Sunday afternoon, and were relatively busy given the time of day. When I got there, they assured me they were working on my order as fast as theycould. I made sure to let them know I was in no hurry, and that I had heard the pies were worth waiting for. Brought the pieback to my buddies house in PB where we had our traditional Sopranos Sunday(we just throw on a season and let it play in thebackground while we hang out). The pizza is close to what I consider perfect. Crust is NY-thin. Chewy, and crispy (not thatsquare-cut Chicago "thin" stuff). The cheese is a good quality, whole milk mozzarella that is very light on the grease comparedto some other places(practically no drips at all), and the sauce was sweet and mildly tangy, with a strong, fresh tomato flavor.A good raw red sauce all around. No overpowering spices like oregano or cheap Full Red canned flavor. The evening culminated infinishing some still-delicious cold slices during the Talking Sopranos podcast. I've found my favorite so far! Better thanLuigi's, Landini's, Milo's, Bronx, and all the other ones I've tried! I'll definitely be back to support this place! Excellent pizza selection period thin crust, just the right amount of toppings. Their salads and sandwiches are okay. Service... is prompt but not particularly friendly. Parking can sometimes be an issue especially at lunch. Read more
