This is how a business should be run! I?ve been coming to Pete?s for several years anytime I want to treat myself to delicious... food served by great people. Every item I?ve gotten has been prepared to perfection: -lobster roll - generous amount ofperfectly cooked knuckle meat with an outrageously delicious roll -onion rings - home made with just the right amount ofbatter -Cole slaw - delicious -clam chowder - chunky like no other I?ve had -fried fish - just tender enough to flake rightapart. Being from NH my standards for Lobster rolls are pretty high and honestly, I?d eat Pete?s over probably all of the placesI?d frequent back home. Coleslaw just the way it should be, and the onion rings are just right light on the batter. Fried calamari is perfect, plus... there clam chowder is chunky the it should be. I can be a little snobby about seafood since I was born and raised in Boston but Pete's definitely satisfies my fried seafood... cravings. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends. Will try the lobstah roll next time. Read more
Great little neighborhood seafood place. East coast seafood and a owner from Boston who I did not have the pleasure of meeting.... Chris was serving and was very friendly and happy to strike up a conversation. Got the lobster roll filled with real lobster. Also the double chicken parm sandwich that had a huge mozzarella patty on the chicken. Started with the clam chowder filledwith clams and potatoes. And such big portions. Really great place for breakfast, lunch and brunch. The mozzarella sticks are homemade (I recommend the one with pepperjack... cheese) and they have good seafood options as well. Very nice Cafe vibe indoors too. Read more
This spot is epic! My Mom & I had lobster rolls w fries and they were legit af. Super tender lobsta, mouth watering bread, and... perfect fries. The staff was above and beyond friendly and a nice gentleman there was an incredibly friendly and efficient host.I?m coming back to try all the things. Thank you! Read more
This place is legit. I've tried the lobster roll, fried fish, fried shrimp, and onion rings. Lobster roll - I got it hot on a... buttery bun. It had big chunks of fresh lobster and was perfect til the last bite. A simple combination of ingredients, butit's definitely a treat. I'm guessing this is one of the few places in SD where you can get a lobster roll that can satisfy aneast coaster. Everything fried here was on point. It came with coleslaw, which isn't usually my thing, but I found myselfeating most of it. Onion rings are served thin and crispy. The fish was fresh and never got soggy. Same with the shrimp. Thepieces were larger than I expected. There's a full bar, TVs, and outdoor seating. I imagine it's an environment that cansatisfy most patrons.
