Very disappointed. Half of my order was missing. The one Apple pie I was waiting for was not placed in my bag! And no utensils,... I got napkins, but no Spiro or spoon or fork , and NO pie! The wait was very long, the drink machine was broken, which forced me to go through the app to request a refund for the... exorbitantly priced soft drink which I wasn't able to get due to the drink machine being down. Kudos that the order was hot andfresh once we finally made it to the window. Unfortunately the chicken was Extremely greasy which surprised me as I have nevernoticed it to be that way on previous visits to Popeyes. The biscuits were MUCH smaller than I remember from my last visit(which wasn't all that long ago - but from a different location). The two can dine for $9.99 is not a bad deal but they chargean additional 50¢ if you want Mac and cheese (which is what I wanted). Read more
I am sitting in the drive thru for over thirty five minutes. Tonight, ordering itself took five, because I was interrupted twice... while my order was being taken, asked to wait! It was never read back to me, despite the chaos of being interrupted and notsure where they stopped taking my order. I had to ask multiple times to repeat back and never even knew how much I was payinguntil at the window (where I waiting another ten). This isn't my first experience that is negative. Ive been here three timeson the last six months and all of them have taken 20-30 minutes by drive through and been unclear with what I might actuallyget. Most of the time I was at the window the guy there had nothing to do. One of the employees was joking around and threwsomething that went out the window, but gratefully didn't hit me. Popcorn shrimp was nothing more than fried bread crumbs. I had about 5 pieces of shrimp (making a total of 1 entire shrimp) in... the whole order. The ghost chili wings were about 2" and had almost no spice. Read more
Did the drive-thru thing today mid-September 2020. Called ahead to order, but they said to simply order at the drive-thru... window, which I did. My order of 6-piece combo Ghost Pepper Wings, Biscuit, and one side (Cole slaw) was delicious. I shouldhave asked for butter for that biscuit - no biggie, I had some at home. Cole slaw was predictably a bit soggy, but tasted good.The chicken wings were the smallest I've ever seen, but they were delicious, and had only medium (IMO) but persistent heat fromthe Ghost Pepper. These are not pure Ghost Pepper wings - but it's in there definitely. The people at this Popeye's are supernice, efficient, and helpful. A bit out of my way to get there, but I'll be back for sure. Great chicken sandwiches here. Much better than chick-fil-a. Chick-fil-a is the healthier option but the sandwhiches here are so... juicy, tender and crunchy. Their surf and turf plates for $5 are a great deal too. I was pretty satisfied with the meal. Ihaven?t had Popeyes in a while because there was usually a giant line for the chicken sandwiches. My son wanted to stop after practice Thursday night and this was a bit of a drive but closest to our house. He wanted fried... chicken but not just any chicken, he loves Popeyes fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. He gets the 4 piece combo whichcomes with a side and drink and ranges around $13. Seems a bit high but he splits the chicken over a few days so its not too bad(plus we don't make it there that often). My favorite are the spicy chicken strips with the Mardi Gras mustard. Not too hot butjust a little kick and with the mustard you get a little hint of heat and tang. My go to side is the red beans and rice. Theirbiscuits are yummy as well, always fluffy and buttery. Don't forget the apple cinnamon pie too, it is a great way to end yourmeal!
