unexpectedly large space inside or sit outdoors to people watch, very centrally located in little italy. came here after nolita... hall thinking the drinks would be cheaper… nope! more expensive ($16) and one of the worst cocktails i’ve ever had, no onewould finish it. matchstick fries were super greasy too. nice waitress though! Ok so this place feels authentic as a real pub, the beers are served in the proper glasses for the beer your drinking. They have... all the Jolly Old originals you'd expect to see in a REAL ENGLISH PUB. On to the food..I had the Banngers and mash, (sausage andmash on the menu, but don't get the proper title wrong ???? ) but the bar keep knew exactly what I meant. And dinner wasdelicious, I didn't even think that I was very hungry, but I cleaned my plate So So hearty!!! I noticed some other people's foodand they looked very pleased as well. The bar tender was polite, knowledgeable and expeditious in his service. There is a clockon the celing not sure what that means but im gonna ask. Enjoyed lunch, tried some of the more popular options on the menu. The potato skins were really good and the cod fish was really... good too. The fries are really really thick and I didn’t like the cole slaw. The service was good, a little slow but staff waslight at that time. Read more
