This location is one of the several Puesto Restaurants in San Diego. When you come to this place, you know you're in for a... Mexican food fiesta. The ambience is so colorful and lively. The main indoor dining room is huge and is always packed with afull house. The outdoor patio is also full of people everyday. You definitely need a reservation to dine here. Although this isour first time dining here, our waitress gave us a very big warm welcome. We felt like back in Mexican for some homeyhospitality. This restaurant is known for causal Mexican dining. Their varieties of tacos cover almost half of the menu. Forour visit, we ordered every taco so that we might not missed any flavor. Each taco is around $10. The choices for taco fillingscovered shrimps, fish to shot ribs, filet mignon, chicken and pork. All tacos were very flavorful and tasty. I have to say theyare very genuine Mexican tacos, not Tex-Mex . If they were less salt in the fillings, it would had been perfect. The maindishes were excellent as well. We got the grilled shrimp and it was fantastic. We loved the flavor. Besides tacos and mains, you definitely want to order quesadillas with chicken. It was probably one of our favorites for the evening along with theirmango shrimp ceviche. These two dishes are must order. . The restaurant is located in happening mission valley along with manypopular restaurants in the same mall. Parking, sometimes becomes difficult to find. Just drive a around, you should be able tofind parking in this huge parking lo Read more

Staff were amazing from front reception to our server. Fun selection of tacos that were tasty but pricey. Our salad was... delicious. Their own brewed beer was good. Bathroom needed attention; it was a Saturday night. The restaurant's tables wereabout three quarters or slightly more occupied and the overall volume of voices was loud. I would not recommend for an intimateexperience or for someone with hearing challenges. We will keep it on list to return. Read more

This place was pretty good but a bit on the pricey side. Like would a pay $18 for a small amount of ceviche? Prob not if i come... back again. Lol. I did enjoy the taquitos. They were crispy but not too hard. It was almost the perfect texture. I felt like theWatermelon Margarita should of had the Tajin rim instead of the salt. But the service was overall lovely. The design/layout of this place is pretty cute. I didn’t like the fact that the waiter, obviously Latino, was dumbing down his... Spanish, pronunciation wise because of the cliental. Food wise Nothing special beside the price $$$$. It is a price place, itwas nice just to try it out. It was nice that they allowed people with animals but some of them were out of control. Margaritasare like $17, that’s all I have to say. Read more

Great upscale mexican restaurant for families. Decent vegetarian options as well. Chicken taquitos were the best I ever had,... melt in your mouth. They had fried cheese wrapped tacos which were great, but I had higher expectations from fried cheese.Sauces of many kind of mild to very spicy. I recommend ordering house special salsa which has 4 different sauces. The standardsalsa was yummy with a kick too. Tried many different tacos, my favorite were crispy fish and shrimp. Mango aqua fresca wasamazing too, not to sweet, only tasted fresh mango. Read more

Wow delicious food! Didn't really expect to be impressed by this place but it totally did! We came here for mother's day and... they were giving away free margaritas to moms, which was very nice. The service is great too We had tacos( tamarind shrimp, queso taco with beef and fish), also carnitas plate - oh my gosh!you gotta try this, it's bomb! Shrimp ceviche. And of coursechips and salsa which was also very good and flavorful! Overall recommend this place , it is a "more expensive Mexican food"though, so be prepared to spend some money here. Also make sure you get reservations ahead of time . Read more
