Rk sushi is one of my go to sushi spots in San Diego. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The sushi is always fresh... and comes out in a timely manner. They have a large patio to enjoy your food on a warm summer night. The rolls are a littlepricing but reasonably priced. Great quality, modest pricing. Sometimes you wanna break the bank and get crazy fancy (expensive) sushi, but for casual nights... when you just wanna satisfy that sashimi craving, RK Sushi hits the sweetspot of price, quality and creativity. Great place! We ordered a lot of food and got full pretty quick. We were going to be out so we didn?t take the leftovers. The... man who worked there (He may have been the owner) came to us after we were walking out to make sure that everything was okay andask us if there was any issue. We had no issue at all everything was great but we appreciate that he wanted to make sure we hada good experience. This place has great food and service! Read more
This is a sleeper right here! One of the best sushi restaurants in town. The prices here are amazing and they have a lot of... seating, although it does get a bit crowded at times. I feel like no one in town really talks about this place, but I used tolive near here and I would go there almost every day for happy hour and sushi specials. They serve beer and sake. Parking is alittle tight, so be prepared to park on the street if necessary. It is usually not too crowded on the streets down there on thatside of Hillcrest. Read more
This used to be one of our favorite places in the neighborhood; great sushi and an unbeatable sake + beer special. We went the... other day and found they no longer have the sake + beer special they?ve had for as long as I can remember. It?s a bigdisappointment since we?ve sent many friends to them for that reason. I wish they could bring it back even if only for a limitedtime during happy hour! First time eating here while on vacation. This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. Everything tasted fresh. We... got here just before the dinner rush so it was fast service. The other great thing is that they offer fresh real wasabi. It was$2.50. But totally worth it. Next time we are in town we will eat here again. The staff was very nice.
