The best seafood truck in town! Never disappoints! Literally everything on the menu tastes so so good. My personal go to are... grilled fish taco and ceviche. They also give out consome (fish soup) while you wait which is delicious. Highly highlyrecommend this place! Read more

UPDATE: I have been coming to this place for two years and I have to tell you they’re not the same anymore. There’s hardly... any fish in this tostada loca. They used to be better, you used to get a variety of sea food and plenty of avocado and nowit’s just krab, some fish bunch of cucumber and tomato. And look at the tostadas they include …I placed this to go so, takeyour chances. All this $17 (used to be $13) not worth it anymore. Read more

This is a staple of ours when we are in town. We make it a point to go get some tacos and plenty of the ceviche to take home... with us too. Baja Trio tacos were so good and everything else is great too! Read more

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I got the baja trio and it was not very good. The batter was super super heavy and soggy on... the fish and shrimp. I usually love fried fish tacos but this was very disappointing, unfortunately. Read more

In the before days, I recall a truck serving up a similar menu, with the exact same business model, called Oceans 97. Mark Wiens... reviewed it, I went and loved it. I don’t know the significance that the truck now says “57” on it, but gave it a go.First off, prices have gone up significantly, Being a food service person myself this is understood as food and operating costhave doubled since then. They are not greedy corporate overlords. To the contrary, I found the alacrity of service andhospitality lacking these days of disgruntled workers. My tostado loco was a bit different from previous visits, with threegeenlip mussels and one diced oyster framing the oversized, two meal affair. The seafood was fresh and adequate- mostlyresilient octopus, poached shrimp seasoned with tajine, and flakes of a sea bass like fish. This salpicon of sorts sportedcucumber, red onion, and tomato in a way that seems un-unified to me. Let it macerate a bit more to break down into a moreunified leche de tigre. Overall I enjoyed ( add that habanero salsa and a bit more lime). The oyster tasted off- and concernedme but did not suffer the revenge. The taco Gobernador was one of the better Ive had but $6?. PersonallyI think it used to havean edge up, but that was then. Four stars is still damned good, and in my regular rotation Read more

You won’t find a better fish taco for $2.25 in San Diego, and you don’t even have to wait for Tuesday. The filet for each... taco is huge, don’t order three tacos unless you’re coming out of the gym. Beware the dark red salsa, it punches harder thanConor McGregor before he started selling whiskey. Delicious, but better wash it down with some horchata. Read more
