Contemporary art. It doesn?t always follow a linear or predictable pattern, does it? Take splatter painting for example. When... it works the various colors, drips, and stains can work together. On the other hand, they can also sometimes not. We hadvisited Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Tempe, Arizona, on another occasion and were impressed with how that environment seemed to geltogether. Although we had similar hopes for this location, we found it lacking in comparison. It wasn?t as though any of thecore components were poor (food quality, service, or atmosphere). It was more that things seemed random and disjointed. Themusic seemed angry and worked to cross purposes with that of the meal. It was as if it were an opposing force warring againstthe meal. Speaking of the meal, the ?Benny Duo? provided a nice alternative to sample two different Eggs Benedict options (wetried the ?Ham Benedict III? and ?Smashed Avocado Benny?). The ?Sandwich I Am? was similar in quality. Good, but worthdriving across town for? Not in our estimation. While this location certainly possesses potential, there is work yet to bedone to take it from random colors on a canvas to a work of art you?d want to purchase, display, and attempt to explain thenuances about to friends and family. And that?s?Henry?s Take. #sandiegobreakfast Read more

I've been to several of the Snooze locations since the first one showed up in San Diego at Hillcrest location. Happy to find... that you can put your name on the Yelp waitlist on weekends since it is quite popular. It even tells you approximately how longthe wait time will be. Just make sur your entire party is there when they call your name. They will not seat you until yourparty is present. All the brunch items are very tasty and I would recommend anything from the pancakes, French toast, eggsBenedict or the classics section of the menu. On this visit, I tried the beef hash and the portions were just right. Read more

The restaurant had a great vibe & excellent service. For the most part we enjoyed our food. 3 of us ordered the "Smashed... Avocado Benny" which was good except for the hollandaise. No one in my party enjoyed the cheese flavor, we all personally feltlike traditional hollandaise balances better with the flavor profile. Honestly, this tasted too much like mac'n'cheese sauce. Our Chai tea was also too milky and we could barely taste the tea or spices, which was a bummer since the expectation is for itto be flavorful. But besides those gripes, the pancakes, bacon, toast, and eggs were excellent. Also enjoyed the hash brownsbut wish that when we said extra crispy that had been followed through. Really appreciated the variety of hot sauces on thetable, they paired great with the food. Read more

Found this place on just a random Google search. Certainly one solid breakfast. Good portion sizes, great service. Placed a pick... up order around 10 on a Sunday certainly was busy for anyone dining in. Either come early or prepare to wait. Worth the wait inmy opinion. Excellent job???? Read more

Always enjoy coming to Snooze. Normally I'm here on the weekends but decided to come mid week, normally it's a long wait but the... wait today was 5 min. This visit we had the omelette and french toast, Shrimp and grits. The food here never disappoints, willalways come to this place because they are very consistent and good flavors. The coffee however was not so great very watereddown and lacking that oomph. But the bloody Mary was good, but not great just good! The wait staff so very friendly kind andthey really look after you. Love a place where to can have a chat with your waiter and have a laugh. Thank you Snooze!! Read more
