The food here is worth trying, but 29% of the time part of the order is inedible. 14% of the time the food tastes meh, but 57%... of the time this place is pretty solid.\nYes, I?m well aware of my statistics hence those accurate percentages.\n\nBraised beefpot roast - Solid flavors\nChicken congee - Its decent\nCorn egg flower soup - It?s decent\nCrispy spring rolls - It?sokay\nHoney glazed spare ribs - Good BBQ flavor\nSdj bbq chicken - It?s okay\n\nOverall the flavors are good and it?s worthtrying.\n\nThe first reason why I?m not going back for a good while is because one time the braised beef was rancid. When I sayrancid, I mean it smells like rotten meat.\n\nThe second reason is because last order of braised beef had a fly in it. Yeah, itwas cooked into the food. I don?t need the extra protein.\n\nThe third is sometimes the chef just may not be having a great dayso the food is bland?very meh.\n\nMakes me sad because this was one of few actually okay places to go.\n\nMaybe it?s just thebraised beef?\nMaybe it?s just the chef?\n\nI presented the percentage of satisfactory, so I?ll let you gamble your moneyaway.\n\nIt?s also mildly expensive too. Parking: Plenty of parking on Friday @ 615pm. There is a limited 10min parking for retail but does not apply to the... restaurant.\nAmbience: Fast pace delivery and pick up with indoor/outdoor dining\nService: nice and welcoming\nFood: I orderedthe Panko Shrimp, spice street chicken, chicken Congee, and crispy spring roll. All were amazing.\nOverall: The food and servicewas great. The price was a bit high as I?ve order exact items elsewhere for a fraction of the price, but that may due to theprime location. Read more

Fabulous! Nothing like a hot bowl of soup on a cold day! This is our second time visiting. They change their menu with the... seasons. The green deliciousness that they offer to dip their homemade taro chips is divine. Everything we\'ve gotten has beentasty. They clearly label their menu for gluten free and vegetarian options. They also offer vegan options. So much to try andreasonably priced. Also, they could not be more helpful or friendly. We really enjoyed sitting outside by the roaring fire whileeating our soup! What a lovely lunchtime experience!\n\nCame here with a few coworkers today and got to sample quite a few of Soup Du Jour\'s... offerings. We ordered several different milk teas, the spiced street chicken, SDJ BBQ chicken, chickpea cauliflower curry, roasted duck wrap, house made taro chips and the soup of the day.\n\nThe food was delivered quickly and our service throughoutthe meal was excellent. Breakdown of each item I personally experienced below:\n\nTaro milk tea - straightforward and tasty.Asked for 1/2 sweet and the amount of sugar was perfect.\n\nSDJ BBQ chicken - ordered this with the protein option. The roastedvegetables were crisp and well seasoned, the chicken was tender and plentiful, and the bbq sauce was just a bit spicy. Asadvertised this dish would be a solid four, HOWEVER, with the addition of the spicy aji verde sauce ($0.50), this dish shoots tothe stratosphere.\n\nSpiced street chicken - the bite I tried was crunchy and perfectly spiced. Again, aji verde kicks this up anotch.\n\nChickpea cauliflower curry - this will likely be what I order next time I go to Soup Du Jour. So delicious. Niceyellow curry flavor and plenty of vegetables.\n\nOutside of the food, the seating area is comfortable and well styled withplenty of shade at lunchtime.\n\nFYI, this restaurant is attached to a set of condos. Don\'t worry, if it looks like you\'repulling into a leasing department you\'re in the right place. There are also specific parking spots for the retail area. Read more
