The worst ever! These people have made up their own rules, because you don?t like ice they will short your drink by about 4... ounces and literally will tell you because you didn?t get ice that you will get ounces in the drink. I don?t like ice it?s notthat I m trying to get more ounces of fluid. I have never heard of anything more ridiculous. Also a lady got spoons that werepart of the counter and the worker stated the following: oh no you have to ask for a spoon because it?s the health law. Wherehave they come up with these rules???? One female barista there is very rude. I ordered one venti cup of frappuccino, and asked if I could have light ice. She asked me... ?light ice for frappuccino??, I answered "yes". She suddenly throw the ice hardly to the sink which scared me, also a customerat VONS self-checkout, and then she put the drink (only 3/4 cup) on the counter and said angrily ?okay, hope you like the lightice frappuccino". I am not sure why she was so angry for my request. This Starbucks is near where I am living and I used to beregular customer with satisfied previous experience. Female baristas are always in a bad mood. I always try to be nice and cool with all employees no matter if the line takes... forever or if they mess up my order but I had enough today, it?s okay to be rude If baristas are rude to you period. Ps not allbaristas are bad only one girl and one guy have been so nice with me. Read more

Just stopped by for a pick me up pumpkin latte and received the best customer serve from Diana. I decided to also purchase a... gift card but decided not to because they didn't have the envelopes for the gift card. After telling Diana that I decided notto purchase the card, she asked if she could make a suggestion. I listened and her idea of putting the card in an emptyStarbucks cup was awesome!! Only because she gave me that great idea, I ended up spending $30! She was kind enough to decoratethe cup for me to make it extra special. I am a regular customer of that Starbucks because it is close to where I live. The lady baristas are usually very nice. Today I... went there ordered a large oat milk brown sugar espresso and this is what I got. There are other customers there so I did notargue with the two male baristas but I felt insulted after I left the store. Great job Starbucks, must have saved you $2 forgiving me this. Read more

I was first in line 10 minutes before they close. the lady was making other drinks and didn?t take my order. She knew I was... there but didn?t say anything. When she was done she turned off the lights and said we are closed. She could have told me beforehand but she didn?t. 10 minutes of my time down the drain. wish i could give negative stars. Unless you're willing to wait in line, I'd avoid this location and go to the one that's just a few blocks over (there's one in... Costa Verde shopping center, UTC mall, and La Jolla Village). This one is conveniently located in Vons, BUT if there's only oneperson working at the stand (it's just a stand, and not a physical building), you'll be caught waiting forever as that personplays different roles of taking new orders at the register and making the drinks. The area where the line forms is not thatinviting either. The stand is awkwardly placed in front of one of the two Vons entrances. No offense to the employees who workhere. I'm sure they're nice people, and great at what they do. Just.... I hate how it's being run. There should ALWAYS be 2people at this spot so the line flows better, and the wait isn't too long.
