I have been to this poke spot on numerous occasions and it never disappoints! Consistently great poke with tons of options to... choose from. Highly customizable. Just wish they had a membership card. They had something like that a few months ago, but I wasonly starting out to like this place back then. So, hope they will either return that card (I think it gave complimentary misosoup for each visit if you buy the card for 100 buck) or make another offer for dedicated customers. Read more
Great place for poke at a 10 pm. There was no wait and the service was excellent and fast. I also really appreciated that they... had the authentic Aloha Maid drinks, which really brought me back to poke on the Big Island. Also a great selection ofdifferent protein options!! Read more
I GrubHub'd this one. It was okay. Everything was relatively fresh. There were a few scallops that tasted like they'd been there... a bit longer than the others. The toppings and base and proteins were well balanced. They forgot wasabi, which was annoyingsince I was staying in a hotel without access to hot sauce, let alone wasabi. Overall ok. Read more
I stopped by for a late dinner, and got a small bowl (2 proteins) for around $9. This place did not disappoint. Rather, it was... awesome!!! As a vegetarian I can't comment on the seafood, but the rice was perfectly cooked, the sauces delectable, andeverything super fresh. Love the avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, tofu, egg... A recently opened business, which shows in the staff's lack of experience despite their eagerness to help. That however is... compensated for by the generous servings and the freshness of the food. Good choice of sauces for the poke bowls - I suggesttrying the creamy sesame or the mustard sauce. They also have Japanese beer on tap as well as sake, wine and other authenticbeverages. The atmosphere is super relaxed yet eccentric in a way that combined with the cool choice of music made me feel likeI was in a Murakami novel. Kazumi helped me and another customer. It was my first time here and she was so patient and attentive. While I was eating, she... was always doing something to re-stock or clean the store.
