When I'm in the area, this one's fine. But there's something going on with mgt. I think it's lacking. The mgrs should be there... to help the staff. I've seen him in there when there's a line and he's of doing something else. Today, the Coke was out ofsyrup and they didn't have any in the back. Properly managed, this should never happen. But the employees are always nice andmake the sandwiches as you ask. Even when your call tell it's a bad day, they still offer you a smile and a nice hello. Read more
Subway is a pretty good fast food place but it seems crazy to me that they charge two extra dollars for you to make a six inch... sub a salad. Shouldn't no bread be cheaper? Subway as a whole is pretty great it is the inconsistency of the different locationsand the not so fresh ingredients that throw me off. They may be the worst sub chain, and I don't mean that in an unfair waybecause they are way cheaper than their competition, but I feel like a lot of local sub shops out do them at their price point. This subway is vary hit and miss. Most of the people working at this location would rather not be there. They are angry and you... really aren’t sure about how food is prepared by these kinds of people. I would not recommend eating at this location. Read more
Came here three times on vacation and they were nice. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I waited about 10 minutes to... use the bathroom and staff saw me but was never told I needed a key. Some other person went up and got the key and cut around meto the bathroom and I thought it was very rude. I feel it was common courtesy to tell me there's a key instead of let me standthere like a fool and be cut in line. Read more
When I spend a day enjoying an afternoon on Shelter Island I usually grab a sandwich at The Subway. Service is friendly and the... place is clean. Some Subways just are too cramped to eat comfortably but here it is more spacious. Food is good and consistent.Lunch time is busy so allow some extra time for your order. They work to move the line along. Definitely worth stopping forlunch. Read more
If you like sitting next to a homeless man in the front window, which has been going on for the last 2 years go there. He has no... food on the table but Subway lack of management lets him waste there time and money. Who wants to eat where they let this happenevery night? NOT ME!!!!
