Best consistent sushi in San Diego! The prices can?t be beat and you?re getting some high quality sushi. I?ve been here about a... hundred times since I moved to san diego and often hesitate to risk anywhere else because its just that good, any time of day,and consistent across locations as well. The sushi chefs and staff are always welcoming and attentive. Read more

I was at at this restaurant today. Let me say that it feels very welcoming when you walk in. Marenda was the one to help me out... and I was greeted with not only a smile but with a kind hello. She was very sweet and polite & attentive to any need. I wouldhighly recommend this spot. Her customer service was above and beyond. Special thanks to marenda ! Read more

Honesty only went here because it was one of the few restaurants open past 9pm on a Wednesday. The rolls were pretty good. I... personally prefer nigiri but ain't nobody trying to pay $5 for 2 pieces of sushi. Kinda weird how the menu says the rolls are$20 but they're 50% off. Just say they're $10. Read more

50% OFF menu. If it wasn't for the 50% it would have been a little expensive. We were walking around and we thought to try this... little place and we were glad we did. Sushi rolls were very tasty. Clean place. The staff is nice, helpful and beyond. You canask'em anything and will help you as much as they can. We tried 6 rolls total and every one of them was very good. And that wasthe second time visiting Kuchi. We'll be back soon. We're back.... still very good. Read more

Okay, so let's start off with the fact that I had to go to 4 locations to finally find a place that had seating and what I... wanted. When I got there, I was quite frustrated that it took so many attempts to get food. The hostess was quick to get meseated in a nice quiet spot outside. After looking over the menu I saw all rolls were 50%off. BINGO! WIN FOR ME! So I triedsomething new, the Bad boy roll, it had tempura shrimp and spicy tuna in the inside with yellowtail, mosago, thin lemon slicesand a spicy sauce on the top. I must say this was the best sushi I have ever had. The lemon paired so well with all the otherflavors in a way I just can't describe. The sake was served nice a hot just how I like it. All in all Sushi Kuchi made my dayand my trip to San Diego all worth it! Read more

My partner got a bunch of nigiri and I got the salmon roll and soft shell crab roll. The food was ok, wasn't terribly authentic,... and decently priced. 3 stars for the service. While there were tables available, it took a while for someone to acknowledge usand seat us. They seated us before giving us menus, and it took a minute or two to get a menu. When we were ready to order, wehad to flag our waiter down twice. And when the food came out, they gave my partner his nigiri 7 minutes before mine was ready.Granted, they might have thought we were sharing everything, but I awkwardly sat there without anything in front of me while mypartner waited. At the end, they apologized for the wait, but it definitely wasn't efficient. Read more

Solid sushi choices and some of the fastest food delivery I've seen. Barely waited 10 minutes for all rolls. They do half off... rolls and it's absolutely worth the price. When we arrived, the restaurant is in a small strip mall with a collection of otherAsian restaurants. We were sat almost immediately and then the server was prompt to take our order. We tries the miso soup, which always is a good gauge of a quality of sushi spot in my opinion. From there we ordered 3 rolls, shrimp tempura appetizerand some seaweed salad. The shrimp tempura was nice and crispy, and their homemade tempura sauce was great. The rolls were alsogreat and the seaweed salad was soaked in a great acidic, slightly sweet sauce. Overall this was a great experience and, although we didn't have one, we will return for their .50 cent sake bombs as well. Read more
