Cozy little shop serving high quality tacos, great for a quick bite. Ordered Surf N Turf Taco, the steak was juicy and... flavorful, the shrimp was super fresh and tender. The crema is rich and highlights the flavor of the proteins. Also a huge pointfor homemade salsa, fresh and refreshing. Read more

I personally found the meat needing seasoning, as it tasted kinda bland to me. This is a small location, limited options at the... salsa bar and few tables to sit. The lines can get very long and the Michelada took over 15 minutes to be prepared. The staffwas very friendly and were working really hard. Read more

Good tacos, but they were having a little trouble keeping up with the crowd. I give them credit for having been there at a busy... time, but the salsa bar was unstocked, and the service line took what seemed like a lot longer than it needed to. Still, I'd goagain, and as I said they were getting slammed at the time, so no major complaints. Read more

Food=5 ?? Prices=5 ?? Location=5 ?? Yes, there are taco places ALL over San Diego! Yes, there are 3 just on this block. We... chose El Cabron after looking at the other menus and found this place had a great variety, great prices, and they had anincredible looking Michalada! We walked here from the Marriott Marquis. It took about 10 minutes. I ordered the shrimp taco andfish taco, the elote in a cup, and chips and guacamole. My husband ordered the surf and turf taco and the pulpo taco, as well asa Michalada. The Michalada was pretty spicy, but my husband finished it all and really enjoyed it. The tacos were perfect! Theelote and guacamole were lacking in flavor. Perhaps if I had ordered the elote on the cob it would have tasted better? But thecorn in the cup was very big, almost like hominy, and it was too watered down. We tried several of the salsas and they were alldelicious. The prices were great! We paid $37 for everything. There was leftover guacamole, but again, it was bland, so notreally worth finishing. I still give this place 5 stars and would return and try the elote on the cob and some other dishes. Read more

We ordered the surf and turf, birria and adobada tacos. The surf and turf was the best of the three. The birria was very bland,... I'm used to it being very flavorful at other places. The adobada was ok but very greasy. Too much raw red onion on top of allthe tacos as well, too strong of a taste. Not my favorite and unfortunately wouldn't recommend. Read more

It?s my first time here and I ordered the Asada Fries and I?m in love! I squeezes lime all over and it just accentuated the... entire dish. The size is great and can be shared but you won?t want to! Read more
