Great view, great atmosphere, absolutely amazing family day with our new Marine and Marine familes
We came for my son's graduation a few weeks ago, and I was sick that day. I was in the bathroom for an hour and only got worse.... We had to call emergency and I ended up at the hospital. I'm obviously good now, but I thought I was dying. Turns out I hadketoacidosis. The people who worked there were so amazing! They helped me in every way they could. They showed genuine care andconcern for some stranger from out of town. I can't thank them all enough! My family got to eat and they said I missed out. Theysaid the food was excellent! Good people. We ate here for my New Marines's 1st Battalion's graduation! All you can eat and food was delicious! Chicken, shredded beef,... salad, veggies, rolls and mash and gravy! Service was exceptional! Congrats James! We are so proud of you ?? Read more

I was here for an event. It appears the event was catered so I'm not exactly sure how much actual food would be if you ordered.... But I've been in San Diego for a long time, and I have never been to this restaurant at MCRD. Would definitely go again Read more

This place is great. It's on the base off Barnett and midway. I've ordered a few different items during their lunch hours and... it's been good each time. The people who work there are so nice and they remember you by name. I've attended weddings there, andtheir venue is beautiful. The bay is right outside the venue so the pictures come out amazing. Anyway, it's a nice little placewith a lot of charm. Update ** I actually ended up having my wedding here. And it was absolutely amazing. They did a fantasticjob. I wasn't a fan of the food...but the experience was amazing and worth the cost. We were here for the drill instructor meet and... greet. Was also here at my Marine son's request the next day and different food was offered and again...it just wasn't a goodchoice of options. More choices for children should be offered. I was also unknowingly was charged for my toddler who is threeyears old and literally ate a roll. All in all....it was a pleasant experience because of the atmosphere and presentation on thenight of the drill instructor meet and greet. The staff were all great as well. Read more
