She makes you feel welcome, like you've been coming to her shop forever. Theshop offers unique flavors as well as tried and true. One of our fave places to stop by on Shelter Island. We love the OMG cake, and the truffles are really good too. There are some... benches outside if you want to eat your treat there, otherwise take it down to the waterfront/marina which is a shirt walk away. Read more
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We tried the brownie, the OMG cake, the truffles and the ricotta cookies and they... were all magic. Special thanks for the complimentary ricotta cookie. It worked! Cheese in a cookie is no longer weird. It wasdelicious!!! I'm really glad we made a spontaneous stop on the way to dinner and ended up discovering the Elegant Truffle. Jennifer does an amazing job! From her key lime tart, to the evil one (cake), to her chocolate strawberries, everything tastes... delightful. My husband isn't a big sweets person, but he will eat anything that Jennifer makes. Please order a cake, or a tartfrom her! I personally love her coconut style cakes, and her key lime pie, and my husband loves her carrot cake! <3 Read more
Jennifer/owner is fantastic! She is still using some family recipes from the mid 1800's. Everything here is fantastic and... handmade fresh every day. The coconut cake is the best I have ever had. OMG I just stopped by for a slice of one of my favorites and picked up a Ricotta cookie as well. What a delight! Surprised by... the lovely lemon. Ha! Heavenly. Don't miss out.
