The wings were great (on the inside, seasoning was meh) so giving it 2 stars, the pizza was SO bland and the crust wasn't cooked... (definitely not New Haven style in the end but am attempt), brussel sprouts were really rich and burnt :( Cocktails weremediocre and service was really bad considering we were sitting right at the bar and there were several staff around on theirphones, avoiding eye contact. Won't be back. Read more

Adams Ave San Diego has a growing variety of tasty restaurants, and The Haven is a great example. This is healthy, beautiful,... flavorful pizza. Not like the oily, sausy pizza at many supposed Italian restaurants. They also have a selection of reallybeautiful vegetable salads. A couple can share one large salad and a 16 inch pizza and have plenty savory leftovers for lunchthe next day. They also offer a nice selection of vegan dishes. I'm generally insistent on "real" pizza crust, and The Havendoes really well in that department. But their colliflower crust (vegan) is actually tasty. It's a great menu overall. Definitely go and try this place! Read more

Best authentic Italian food! Sometimes it’s hard to find a place that is equally as good at pizza as it is Italian, but this... is the spot! Small area which I really enjoy as it is never overly crowded! ???? Read more

Nice small place to go grab a pizza or lasagna. The chicken and tequila pasta is a great dish. I, on the other hand, prefer... dessert Read more

Great ambient. The food is delicious. Proper Italian food. Customer service is also great. I go there at least once a week since... I discovered this gem. I've had their bruscettas, pizza, salads, and their lasagna. All delicious! They serve draft beer andwines. Happy hour is from 3 to 6. I usually visit during happy hour and it's not so busy. It gets a little more crowded in theevenings though. Parking is easy enough. There's a lot right next to the place. But it might be harder on the weekends. Anyways. The food is delicious. Give it a try. Edit: They've removed their 10 inch pies and replaced them with a 12 inch option. Andupped the price significantly. Thus I can no longer dine here casually. It's a shame. Read more

Fabulous food! We got two cauliflower pizzas and a salad. The ingredients were fresh and local. Everything tasted homemade. The... service was great. Their prices were reasonable. We loved that they can make almost everything on their menu gluten free. Theyalso have tons of vegan and vegetarian options. We'll definitely be back! Read more

Great tasting food, me my spouse and my 2 year old tried (shrimp lemon Alfredo, Dave’s meatballs, the Cesar salad, and BBQ... chicken pizza) all 4 were good. We also left with pasta and chicken too; great service and polite women only one thing I wishedwas a little bit different was the timing of the food but the wait ensures quality so that’s why 4/5 Read more

This was the last place on my trip to San Diego I visited for dinner. I had the lemon garlic shrimp Alfredo (Thank me later) and... the sangrias were strong & smooth! Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly and I loved the music. They made me feel athome. When I'm back I'll definitely be eating more of their food. Read more
