I've had Mexican food all over Los Angeles, and the honest-to-God truth is this: everything North of the Hollywood Hills is the... real deal, no BS, incredible food. Everything south of the Hollywood Hills is mediocre at best*. Papa Juan's is an incredibleand precise experience for Baja grill. The ingredients are superb and fresh, the presentation is vibrant and colorful, and thetaste? It's perfect. There's no other way to describe it. No other word correctly defines it. Very delicious food, i was craving ceviche and this was the perfect spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the michelada,... next time I'll get it with shrimp. I loved the outdoor seating. Perfect little courtyard for chilling out and eating. stop in,you will love it! Read more
I love this place, food is always fresh and well prepared, today I got the tuna poke appetizer and its no appetizer its a whole... meal. The mix of tuna, charred kale, veggies and sauce is amazing. Everything I order from here is always on point, to me itsthe best menu in San Fernando. Read more

Being in the mood for some Fish Tacos led me to an unexpected hidden gem in Sylmar called Papa Juan's. It was like stepping into... a private garden. The fish tacos are absolutely delicious and a nice size. This is not your average street taco. Normally, Iput a lot salsa and toppings on my tacos to add more flavor. These fish tacos taste good without all the extras. What I alsoloved about this place is that it's located in something called Library Plaza. And yes, there is a beautiful LA County Libraryright next door. I will definitely make this my "Go To" spot for fresh fish tacos. Read more
Just arrived and seating is all outdoors. Patios is nice . I have my dog, but didn?t ask if they are pet friendly. So he?s... waiting in the car in the shade. The food was good. I will definitely come again. And I will make sure to see if they are petfriendly. Read more
All bad.. it was my first time going to this place and I was super excited. I ordered the steak and shrimp dinner plate, and a... Modelo. Beer was great until I was half way eating my food, I found a long, white hair. And immediately lost my appetite. Icalled the waiter over and said I can?t eat this no more, and showed him the hair.
