GOOD LORD!! This place was nothing short of absolute Bliss! This place is known for A5 Japanese Wagyu and although, wagyu IS... delish, it's too fatty for me to eat in that amount. The staff was GREAT and the food even BETTER! I met up with friends herefor dinner and OMG, WHOA!!! The restaurant isn't too big, I liked that a lot but it was a tad too dark for my liking, lol. Idon't like eating in the dark! We shared everything and we still had PLENTY to take home. For appetizers, we had the Heirloomand Burrata salad, bone marrow and some edemame. Honest to god, the bone marrow was one of the BEST I have ever had and it wasonly recently added to their menu the day before. So delish! Any place, that has it, I'm ordering it along with the heirloomand Burrata salad. Everything was so delish and so flavorful. The steaks were super thick and plenty to share for 2-3 people atleast! We also ordered the white cheddar mash and corn to go with (served family style). Our server was so nice and veryattentive but not bugging. I appreciated that. He was also honest about everything we ordered and took his recommendations on afew items and was def. not disappointed. Phenomenally overpriced and overrated. If a $59 filet was tasty and cut like butter, it MAY be worth it. But sadly that wasn't... the case. $33 for a side of truffle mac n cheese with lobster was good, not great, and barely large enough for 2. While the service is great, the food is very mediocre. The meat on both steaks that we ordered was overcooked and dry. The... starters were OK, but again, nothing to rave about. I would consider other options since the food should be much better thanthis at this price point Read more
Got our private dining area reservations with the manager, Kevin Lee, for the win and accommodated us during the dining... experience as well! This place turns into a nightclub after dining hours. It's a lounge and detailed with the refined decorwith dimly our setting. One goes here primarily for the meat and savory palates of the steak and other delectable entrees. Doget the steak tartare as an appetizer and spoonful of hamachi truffle, yum! Their meat is mightily meaty and flavored withdelicious snazz! They were generous with their portions so I'd recommend getting all in each bite sized, so there will be goodvariety to be shared! Sweet desserts are made nicely here if one has room after all its glorious meat dishes! Sorbet is arefreshing win! Ambiance, service, quality of food and dining scene is all here! Wine and dine time! It's ok, nothing to brag about at this price point vs quality. Service have been excellent the times I have visited. ... Establishment is clean. Drinks are consistent. Good neighborhood. Street parking shouldn't be an issue. Doesn't seem to getto crowded during week nights. I would frequent more often if the food quality was higher up. This restaurant earns the title of one of the top 25 Steakhouses in the country. The 5 A ribeye was excellent. The mac and... cheese gnocchi was delicious. Hana paired an fantastic wine (Martin Ray) with my meal. The bacon Bread was unique and good. This place has a good atmosphere for business or a group meeting. The staff was great and the service met or exceededexpectations at every level. If you are a steak lover this place is a must. The only thing that could make it better is livemusic and a larger portion option. As far as price, you get the quality you pay for. Read more
May very well be the future of steak houses, unbelievable. How does this place also have some of the best scallops I?ve ever... tasted? Perfect is the word when describing the slabs of meat coming from this kitchen. The porterhouse and mignon were perfect.The porterhouse came with a bacon jam which was an excellent combination with the steak. Now let?s talk scallops. The scallopswere incredibly delicious, amazingly prepared, a nice size and swimming in a delectable butter sauce. The amount of amusebouchée and palate cleansers is Michelin star worthy. Seriously how does this place not carry a star? Great food, fantasticservice, amazing ambiance, what else is left? An incredible dinning experience and definitely worth the price.
