It was my birthday and I want to try a gourmet Filipino restaurant? this restaurant has a really good food but the serving is... really small. It?s good for small bites but not to feed your hunger. I still enjoyed the food because they are all fresh and thetaste are something incomparable. They created various cooking styles on the dishes that are somewhat familiar to us and elevateit to the highest level. Read more

Service was excellent. I love the concept that you order many small dishes, and everything is to tasty you feel you are on a... journey. Can?t recommend it more. Read the menu ahead if you don?t know Philippins dishes like us! Note that a 20% tip plusanother 4% were applied to our bill before being able to make a choice. Read more

We went for brunch and loved Abacá. The restaurant itself is bright, open, and airy Two large, central skylights kept the... restaurant full of sunlight during our visit. The restaurant itself is located inside a hotel, with decorative lattice screensseparating the dining room from the lobby. The food itself was excellent. The savory French toast was delicious and unlike anyFrench toast I've tried before. I'd definitely recommend the avocado toast for a vegetarian option. Read more

Visiting San Francisco was the best decision ever. The culture, the community, the view and the food is by far amazing. Not only... was it amazing, but I was also able to meet two of my very friends who are from here. They took me to a restaurant called Abacawhich was hands down freaking amazing. I'm not exaggerating when I say their food will take you to a whole new experience onFilipino cuisine. Whatever you order on the menu, will have new flavors ready to spark up your pallets to a whole new level.Again, If you want something different and exciting. Abaca will surely give you that memorable experience. I can't wait to bringmy partner the next I visit. Read more

I?d call to make reservations just to be sure. The food is amazing, and fair priced. They really took Filipino dishes and made... it elegant and beautiful, almost too beautiful to eat. Also the servers are beyond friendly. The drinks, YOU MUST TRY. Read more

We were guests at The Alton, decided to stop in for a night cap after our night out. It was busy with locals, which is usually a... good sign. Drinks and service were outstanding. We came back in for breakfast, shared the Filipino breakfast. SO DELICIOUS andthe portions were huge. As I said, we were able to share and we had leftovers. We also ordered an ube and coconut pastry thatwas also incredible. We will be back. Read more

I liked that despite the location in a hotel, this place stood out as its own restaurant rather than a hotel restaurant. I... enjoyed all their cocktails but given the types of flavor profiles, it was suspected that they would be more sweet than Iprefer. The entrees were more enjoyable than the desserts. Reservations are necessary Read more

My overall experience was very pleasant. The decor of the restaurant, including the outdoor patio is very well designed and... beautiful. The service was attentive and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the king bird cocktail andit was so deliciously dangerous! We ordered the thin pork skewers, the banana Leaf salad, the sisig, the grilled octopus, thelumpia, and the apple fritters for dessert. We really enjoyed everything, but the least favorite was the banana leaf salad. Thecombination of flavors were interesting, and I?m not really sure if it worked, but it was beautifully presented and the flavorswere definitely unique. Read more
