We were walking through Golden Gate Park when we realized it was lunchtime. We ? Googled? places to eat in the park and were... surprised by the very limited selection. There?s a cafe at one of the museums but that seemed like a schlepp and then we sawAnnies Hot Dogs concession stand just below the Conservatory of Flowers. Was it a mirage? No, it was the real deal. While therewere folks buying hot dogs and ice cream, we splurged on a few salted hot pretzels with a delicious cheddar cheese dip, alongwith a couple of bottles of water. I?ve been married for over thirty five years and I couldn?t recall having such a refreshinglunch with my long term girlfriend!
