The best Korean fried chicken in sweet sauce I have had. A big lover of this crispy chicken and there marinade was absolutely... delicious. I wish I order two portions now! The seaweed salad (a dish I would not normally opt for) was really nice. Itcomplimented the fried chicken very well as it was light, cool and refreshing. Read more

Good food but the staff needs to be trained. She’s friendly but came way too soon and frequent for orders when we just saw... down. She also wanted to take the food away when we were still eating. And gave us the check before we were ready. There wereplenty of tables in the restaurant so it wasn’t that they were busy. The attitude made it seem that you want the customers toget out… Food is okay otherwise. The kimchi fried rice was good. Read more

Small menu but each item is made really well. The staff did rush us through our meal which was unusual as the restaurant wasn't... busy. Read more

Delicious Korean food and super friendly staff. We tried a few of the popular items off of the menu and all of them were great.... Kimchi fried rice is amazing along with the sweet potato fries. Thank God we stumbled upon this place after planning on comingto the ramen spot across the street with a line around the corner. It did not disappoint. Read more

I came here with a reservation and really liked it! We got seated immediately and our food was super high quality. Good: The... ambiance is super intimate and a great date setting - I really like the Korean friend chicken with soy garlic. I also loved thejjajeong noodles since they had so much flavor and the portion sizes were huge - the corn and egg added a lot of uniqueness tothe dish. Bad: Wait times were pretty long here so don’t be in a rush if you’re coming here! Overall loved the place andwould come again for a date. Read more

After my wife and I read reviews of restaurants within a one-mile walk of our hotel near Union Square for an hour, we chose... Barnzu Korean restaurant. Our dining criteria for the evening were Asian cuisine, a moderate price, and positive reviews. As weentered the restaurant, the sole server immediately greeted us at the door and escorted us to our table. The small cleanrestaurant seated about 30 but was spacious enough and didn’t feel cramped. My wife loves bibimbap, so ordered the StonepotBibimbap Rice Bowl. I’m a fan of bulgogi beef, so ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice, also served in a stone pot with plenty ofbeef. Both dishes were tasty and generous in size. We agreed that mine was the superior and more flavorful dish. We also enjoyeda side of crisp and slightly sweet pickled radish. We finished our dinner with a dessert of Hotteok, which consisted of threedeep-fried pancakes filled with sunflower seeds and a sweet sauce, possibly made with bean paste. The sweet and delightfulconcoction satisfied our desire for sweets. The server was friendly, attentive, and answered our questions. Also, the restroomwas sparkling clean. After we returned from Barnzu to our hotel, we knew that the hour of restaurant research was worth ourtime. The experience and meal left us with a positive feeling. Read more
