I would recommend several other incredible ice cream locations in the city prior to wasting your money at this... establishment. My wife came in today with my daughter at about 4:30 PM. After waiting for a couple large groups, my wife askedfor a shake because she was getting ready to drive and wouldnt be able to eat the ice cream. The employee asked her if she wouldmind waiting due to the line. My wife advised she did not want to wait and the employee gave her grief. After she declined anyice cream the same employee called her "ignorant" for requesting to have a shake while driving. We didn't ask or need hisadditional opinions. My wife also witnessed him lie to a woman about gluten free options on the menu just to get her to ordersomething and move on. Very disappointed... Read more
Came here to write a bad review but I see the company has taken the appropriate action and has fired the employee that's been... all over social media. 5 stars for doing the right thing and getting rid of that employee. Read more
I?M EXPECTING A RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER! The tall man with glasses and medium length dirty blonde hair gave us incredibly rude... customer service, refused to refund us (with absolutely no signage of that being a policy), lied and said he was the manager(spoke to his coworker on shift and she said the manager was not in the shop today), then denied us any contacts (such as aphone number or email address) for the ACTUAL manager, refused to give me his name, called the cops on us and did not onceapologize, stop speaking to us condescendingly or actually help us. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS I WOULD! HE SHOULD BEFIRED BECAUSE HE WASN?T EVEN BEHIND THE COUNTER WHEN WE GOT INTO THE STORE! THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF US HAD BEEN STANDING THEREFOR 10 MINUTES! The location is great... smack in the middle of the Haight. The service was excellent and the team went above and beyond to help... my wife find a T-shirt she liked, and this isn't even saying how amazing the ice cream is, but we already know this! Read more
If you're in the Haight, you really HAVE to stop in here, right at the famous corner of Haight & Ashbury. There's gonna be a... line, and you'll struggle with the desire to get every variety in the store, but that's all part of the fun! Read more
The line moved quickly and the staff is friendly and helpful. They let us sample many flavors. The ice cream flavors were... familiar from the grocery store and some we have not seen before. One of the attendants answered my questions about localhistory and pointed out a guide map on the wall. Some famous musicians have lived in this neighborhood. The corner street signin front of this ice cream shop is lower down than the rest, allowing for a great picture to document your visit. Read more
