I'm not sure if I'm alone in this, but whenever I have little expectation of a restaurant and that restaurant blows me away - I... have a hard time explaining why. Was it the amazing food? Yes. The food was delicious, from the first bite to the lastlittle-bit of dessert. Was it the great service? Yes. My party never wanted for anything. Our server was incrediblyknowledgable and, more importantly, honest. She shared her actual opinions and steered us towards dishes that were going to fitour palate. Was it the atmosphere? Yes. The darkly lit room, with a mix of 1920's and victorian decor gave off a very welcomingand cozy vibe. It wasn't one thing, but I guess a combination of it all. This is a fantastic restaurant. The ambiance is intimate and relaxing. The staff is top notch and the food is even better. We... had steak as our main course and it was grilled to perfection. I would recommend to get a reservation ahead of time. However wewere lucky to find a spot right at the bar. Bill can add up pretty fast, especially with drinks, but I would highly recommend! Read more
