Finally returned after the pandemic and all, and the Café has not lost its touch. Nice cocktail menu, which we ordered from.... The French Onion Soup is the best we’ve tasted in a long time (albeit saltier than most). The Café Bastille Salad is a fresh,delicious meal on its own without adding protein. The Quiche Lorraine is a cheesy, rich delight, but the Pommes Frites areamazing, easily the best we’ve tasted in memory; if you get them, enjoy them fresh and hot! Read more
It's been so long since I've eaten here, now the alley is full of outdoor seating. So festive. The wine is delicious as always.... I had a glass of the sancerre. I also had the French onion soup and we shared the charcuterie plate. On point. I love CafeBastille. Read more

Wow. We came here for a reservation at 6pm and I don’t know why it wasn’t packed! Everything here is lovely- the ambience,... the service, the drinks, and the food. Our server David was super helpful making recommendations and was was patient andefficient. We ordered the escargot, pulpo, fiedeua (rice noodles) with squid ink, the steak, the chocolate ganache cake, and thelemon mascarpone cake. We loved all of it. I also enjoyed the Lorca cocktail and ended up getting 2 because it was so nice-just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. High recommend this place for a broth day or date night and can’t wait to goback. Thank you David for your such a lovely evening! Read more
