This was my first time trying wild boar ???? chops. I must say they were delicious, one of the best chops I have ever tried.... Well cooked, barely no fat on it and the service was also very attentive. No major downsides, maybe a bit overpriced but this isSan Francisco, California. You gotta pay the price to eat good stuff. Came here for restaurant week after a recommendation from a friend & it did not disappoint! The food was so good!! The gnocchi... was so soft & delicious and the tuna tartare was very fresh. The tiramisu was a perfect end to the meal! The staff were alsovery friendly and attentive. The outdoor dining area was also very nice & had heaters. I can’t wait to dine here again! Read more

Other than getting charge twice for 2 items and bread came a much later after main entree was served and consumed, the food was... very delicious. The sever did say he was not going to charge us for the bread but it was still on the bill and it was to muchbother to point it out to him again????. Forgot the name of the dish below I had on New Year's eve....it was very delicious Iwanted another serving. I see that Menu changes every week. Read more

10-22-21: Came here for lunch on a Friday during SF Restaurant Week. It had been over 10+ years since I have been here for... dinner. So was very curious to see how this iconic restaurant has evolved through the years and to see how they survived thepandemic. I tried the burrata appetizer and the pappardelle with ragu sauce. Unfortunately, I didn't like the burrataappetizer. I expected a warm burrata with some bread to enjoy the cheese. The burrata was served cold and had a truffle oilthat, to me, ruined the cheese. The menu said garlic chips would be served but we didn't get any. Very disappointed. Service wasnot great. They weren't very warm (friendly) nor was there any follow up. The pappardelle was very tasty. Noodles were somewhatal dente with good chewy texture. Sauce was rich tasting with good amount of meat. I would eat more of this dish. Overall,because of the service and my appetizer not meeting expectations at all, don't think I would come back here again. Read more
