Pizza joint serving pretty decent Detroit style pizza with thick cheesy crust that’s crunchy at the bottom and soft on the... inside. Detroit style pizza is definitely sharing size because a couple slices can fill you up. They also make thin roundversion that’s about half the thickness of a regular pizza. This pizza was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I got the mozzarella sticks 2 piece, and the classic... pepperoni. Decent craft beers. Enjoyed the pizza although the pepperoni was overcooked and dry. I would have overlooked that if it wasn't... for the failure of the hotsauce that appeared promising but fell flat on so many levels. I get it, they are somewhat averse tospice and yes they have chili flakes but right next to that is a bright red "hot" sauce with an opening so small that you haveto violently shake it for a few drops. You would expect something exceptionally hot and deadly except all you get is somethingmore sweet than spicy and more akin to ketchup. Seriously, I would have been happy with a bottle of Chalula. First of all, this is the type of Pizza I would not be surprised if someone requested to eat as their last meal on Death Row. I... had a feeling about this place. This is the 58th Pizza place I have tried since May 2002 in San Francisco alone. Halfway throughmy goal of reaching 108 Pizza places tried and I was loosing my steam until Cellarmaker House of Pizza not only reinvigoratedbut justified further why I made a vow to devote a portion of my life to Pizza. These people make Detroit Style Pizza that wouldrightly be described as Balanced, Delicious, Exceptional, Honorable, Incredible, Outstanding, Respectable, Robust aka an imageof Detroit Style Pizza in top tier form. This is the kind of Pizza worth getting defensive about if someone doesn't see themerit in after they have tried it. I had a feeling about this place. As I spent hours looking at all the Pizza places in SanFrancisco on Google Maps, I had a feeling that this place was going to be extremely good based off the pictures alone. I havefactually accomplished something in my life by trying this Pizza and knowing what it's like. I hope the people involved withCellarmaker House of Pizza understand you have garnered the respect of a true San Francisco Native of the City of San Francisco,not some outlying area who has sectioned off a portion of life in devotion to Pizza.
