Reviews for Cotogna in San Francisco, CA
We celebrated our anniversary and my husband’s birthday here and dinner was most excellent. Our highlight was Conan, our... wonderful server who had such a great energy and was able to explain every dish in amazing detail and in a way we couldunderstand. He also made us laugh quite a bit too! We had such a lovely dinner outside and they provided warm cozy blankets aswell. Highly recommend the raviolo and don’t skip dessert! Read more
One of the best Italian restaurants in SF. It was very packed even it was a Tuesday night. You’d better make a... reservation. Actually I liked this place more than Quince. (I went there 6 years ago so it might be different now. When I haddinner there, the main dish was lamb. It was a bit disappointing for a $500 dinner. ) In here, we spent $100 per personincluding one glass of wine, tax and service fee. I’d definitely dine here again. Read more
I wouldn’t say Cotogna is the best Italian restaurant in SF , but it is one of the finest Italian restaurant in SF I’ve ever... visited. From Antipasti through primi to Secondi, Dolci, it is so amazing, incredibly tasty. The pizza dough is simply the best!I think the most important thing to making Margherita pizza is flour, kneading dough. Ravioli de ricotta is the best ravioliI’ve ever eaten. I love the way they make cocktail, it is so uniquely garnished, beautifully decorated. Their cocktail issecond to none! Love it! Don’t neglect getting Dolci after primi, secondi. Their Dolci is perfect palate cleanser! Read more
Had a lovely (and pricey) dinner here. Food was amazing and service was excellent. Was seated immediately at our reservation... time. Highly recommend the pizza with pesto and squash as our overall favorite. Also really enjoyed the garganelli pasta ad thehalibut crudo. The cocktail with juniper berries was also very good! Read more
First time here! Was invited for a business lunch. We started with the procuitto appetizer and squash pizza. Two had the corn... tagliatell, two had the pappardelle and one had morel mushroom pastas. All were beautifully prepared and delicious. We endedwith a selection of desserts and I had my first experience with Grappa (I call it Italian moonshine!) The chef uses localseasonal ingredients, so part of the menu changes regularly, but some item are always available. Reservations are a must andparking is tough so if you can, use public transportation, walk or Uber. Read more
Had a wonderful time at Cotogna. The staff are extremely nice and welcoming. The food was very good. The lettuce salad was... very good, though not a must. The ravioli was awesome! When the waiter asked me how was it, I just told him "I am happy". Ihope this sums the idea. Go to Cotogna. Read more
