August 2022: Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Ordered the oyster brochettes to start. These were delicious oysters wrapped with... bacon and deep fried. This was probably the highlight of the meal. Oysters were juicy and tasty and the breading was verydelicate! Superb appetizer ????! We shared a bunch of mains. Etouffee was my favorite. Nice shrimp stew over a bed of jasminerice ????! We also tried the fried chicken ???? which was nicely breaded. The last entree was the fried catfish. This was okay.All the entrees needed a dash of crystal hot sauce. Sides we shared: jambalaya, collared greens, green beans, red beans andrice. All were good. Dessert included beignets and coffee ?. Was okay because they were more bready than crispy. Truly authentic and fantastic Cajun cousine. The mushroom Jambalaya is the best. Pillowy soft mushroom, complex and flavorful... sauce reduction, and pleasantly crumbly corn bread.
