Destapas is our very favorite restaurant in California for authentic Spanish tapas and paella! We just got back from a 3-week... trip to Spain and have to say that the food at Destapas rivals any excellent tapas place in Spain (and we triedmany). Owner/chef Raul also has a catering business. Last week, we used him for an outdoor party, and the food was amazing!Guests are still raving about it. This was the 3rd time we've used Raul for catering, and whether the party is for 35 or 85guests, Raul and his crew consistently deliver a superb and tasty meal with good service, prepared hot and fresh on site. Wehighly recommend visiting Destapas for a little "taste of Spain." Service is wonderful and food even better. We look forward togoing back over and over again. Read more
Amazing service and staff. Best Spanish tapas in the city I've had so far. The paella and dessert was okay though but would go... again. Def recommend the eggplant dish, the shrimp empanadillas and the garlic shrimp. Read more

BEST SERVICE EVER! After a stressful situation of changing a friends flag tire, this restaurant lifted my friend & I spirits so... much! I have not had paella in YEARS & this paella, HIT THE SPOT! By the looks, I thought this place would be expensive. It’snot too pricy at all! The food is delicious, service is efficient, and very professional. The restaurant is super clean & thevibe is immaculate. Definitely will be returning ???? It must have been fate for us to get a flat tire outside. 1000/10recommend! I will be back to try the whole menu! The paella displayed is the “paella mixta” & the dessert is “flan devainilla”. Both extremely delicious & bursting with flavor. The appetizer with goat cheese, bread, and grapes is amazing aswell as the house sangria! Read more
Best Spanish restaurant in San Francisco! From Tapas to Paella you can’t go wrong! And they even have Estrella Galicia on... draft!!! The place is beautiful too with a nice patio area. Highly recommend to call and make a reservation. More photos tofollow. Read more

Huge win for the neighborhood and SF. Exceptional tapas and paella. Incredible service. Owners are amazing and the outdoor... setting is really well done decked out with heaters and adjustable awning Update: Run don't walk to get a slice of theirincredible Basque style cheesecake.
