Reviews for El Rancho Grande in San Francisco, CA
Best Mexican in the NOPA/Haight area. I love their super burritos. If you’re eating in the store, you get free chips, and... there’s pico and salsa in a free condiments bar. Read more
I’ve been here more times than I can count. Open late and the only place I can find this great of a steak and prawn... quesadilla. This might be my favorite spot in the entire bay area Read more
This was the first breakfast meal I had since landing in Oakland. It met and exceeded my expectations as I ordered the huevos... rancheros burrito. A very generous portion and satisfied my craving! Read more
My wife and I got carne asada tacos and super burritos and they both tasted like a chemical cleaner. We don’t ever complain... at restaurants but after one bite, that we spit out, we were physically sick. Read more
Me and my friend agreed this deserved 5 star. The loaded quesadilla alone constituted a perfect rating. The staff was friendly... and suggested all the food we ordered. The beef tongue was great, the shrimp was good, carne asada and carnitas was great. Chipsand unlimited salsa to start, cheap beers. Had a great dinner here. Go try it!! Read more
We drove all the way from Sacramento for a night in San Francisco and were looking for a taco place to grab a quick bite late at... night. Man, were we happy that we found this place. We tried tacos, enchiladas, and Chile Relleno, and everything was supertasty. A small location with big flavors. Read more
Fantastic, unassuming spot with truly delicious and hard-to-find Mexican specialties. The Mission taquerias may get all the... hype, but why fight the crowds there when you can get your delicious taqueria staples (carne asada here is awesome) like tacos, burritos, nachos, tortas, and quesadillas, as well as rare dishes like camarones a la diabla (slightly sweet, VERY tasty) andthe molcajetes, which you can get in rojo or verde sauces. I have a slight preference for rojo but both are superb, well worthsharing with a friend or two. I didn't have a go-to spot for Mexican food until now; I'm so glad to find it in my neighborhood! It's Saturday morning, you're tired, cranky, and hungry. Get yourself in here and nourish your body and mind with some mind... blowing chilaquiles. Even if you are feeling great though, you won't be the one having the best time. The staff here arelaughing and singing along to their music even when taking your order. It's an inspiration to enjoy yourself a little more. Read more
