What a treat! The food was great and the service fabulous! I had sole and my husband steak. My fish was cooked to perfection.... The sauce was light and not too much as tends to happen. Family and I were staying at club quarters for sons brain surgery at UCSF 9 days. There were days I spent time alone, with... family members and the whole family there and fish and farm was such a comfort for us all. Stefan was so hospitable, heremembered that I liked hibiscus at breakfast, always remembered v what my kids liked to drink and always was so kind to us andmy little dog. The food was delicious, so plentiful and the atmosphere was really comforting to us during this trying time.It's a beautiful venue and they have shows and ample seating downstairs and on the main level and a great big beautiful bar.They also make great craft cocktails. We ate lunch one time and breakfast also. Both time the food was good. Service was good. It got a bit busy during breakfast and... getting to pay bill took a few minutes. Overall good small place for grub with a nice bar. We tried hotel there and it's just asdescribed in reviews. We will be back. Read more
You could walk straight into this restaurant from our hotel. Efficient service and there were a few other hotel residents using... the place. We both had the 'Eggs any style' and this was a generous serving with 2 poached eggs, bacon, potatoes & toast. A goodstart to the day and the cappuccinos were good. First, the hours on Google incorrectly said they open at 6:30, and when I showed up at 7 they weren't officially open yet, but... the gentleman there very graciously seated me and served me anyway. I had blueberry pancakes, which had that delicious pop offresh blueberries, and bacon that was nice and crispy without being hard. I'll definitely be coming back again (within theiropen hours this time). Read more
It's got all the charm and charisma of a local pub, with the added benefit of amazing, locally-sourced food and brews. Sat down... at the bar, ordered a pint of a local beer (that I, sadly, forgot the name) and the farm burger, 'cause it looked fitting andtraditional. It was a top-notch burger, much better quality than your standard pub fare, with fresh fries to boot! If you'restaying by the Club Quarters hotel or in the area, at least go check out their happy hour. Won't regret it! Read more
We got the salmon and sole, and boy was it full of butter, but not in the good way. We couldn't finish it. Service was quick and... he was a attentive until it got busy. Poor guy was taking orders, serving and clearing tables himself. Read more
