Not happy with the way the pastries looked and tasted!!! The croissant pastries were over baked, burnt and dry. To the owner,... chill? take a deep breath?.are we not allowed to give you our honest opinion about your pastries? Don?t blame the way I took thepicture!! It is what it is? i didn?t photo shop it to make your pastries look that way. Perhaps you should spend more time inthe kitchen so you can improve on your pastries and less time reading reviews. Really cute, woman owned small biz with delicious baked goods! I highly recommend the pb&j ?stuffy?, aka a cookie filled with... peanut butter and fruit compote. We also enjoyed the birthday cake cookie and the mint chocolate stuffy. The cookies weresurprisingly not *too* sweet, which is a big plus for me. I wanted to do something special for my best friend's baby sprinkle in San Francisco, but being out of state was a bit... difficult. I came across Flour & Branch and loved everything about the website, especially all the details about the ingredientsand flavors of the cookies. Lauren was incredibly responsive and thoughtful about the order, she even let me know which cookieswere not strictly halal. I really appreciated all of her willingness to answer questions and come and go with me. I have beentold that the cookies were successful and delicious. The cookies were a gift from a friend and absolutely love them, right from elegant packing, detailed (fun) labels on each... individual cookies and finally how they melt in your mouth.
