Music too loud- busy staff all around - overall good food. Needs to reduce volume and hire more waiters- at least 2 per night... shift. Food was hot- tasty and good portions Read more

What a surprise! I never knew that this restaurant existed! Ive been eating on West Portal for 15 years and going to Peets... (3 doors down) and the hardware store since .... 2002? I never saw this place. Well, my wife was in the mood for Peruvianfood. I suppose it's because we just returned from Machu Picchu a few months ago. I was like..... "where are we going?" Ididn't know what to expect nor was I expecting much when I arrived. After all, just a few months ago I was eating amazingPeruvian food. I was surprised at the quality of the food. Not only was it delicious, but it was presented beautifully. Therestaurant is very nice and clean. The staff is professional and courteous. It was the perfect evening. Read more

Great neighborhood, nice cozy atmosphere, the food looked nice but was just ok, hence the 2 stars and the service was slightly... confusing like they weren't on the same page. Read more

Delicious Peruvian food with attentive waitstaff that provides excellent service. The lamb meatball is a treat... slightly... crunchy on the outside with savory cheese sauce. If you are a courageous eater, the whole fried branzino is truly unforgettable.Their Causas are one of the best I've ever had. And the Seafood Stew is so good that makes me want to come back again and again. The Their sangria even spark a nostalgic feeling. Bottom line, you have to try it. Read more

Outdoor seating, great service and delicious food. I’ve been here twice, one for brunch and once for dinner. I had the pork,... my friend had the beef and it was on point! Cocktails are nice with a good kick, quick and efficient. A good mix of Latin food, come try out all the different items and support local small business and restaurants! Read more

Outdoor seating is available along Portola - in direct sunlight which will be good when it starts to get cooler, and they offer... umbrellas next to the tables for those who prefer not to be in the sun. The service was attentive and thoughtful and everythingwe ordered was tasty. The Chicharron de Pollo is like lopcorn chicken - nice texture and pairs nicely with the sauce. Definitely a cozy place to enjoy some good peruvian food. ???????? Read more

Once we arrived I felt like I’d been here before, and I was right, the restaurant used to be Fresca. Both restaurants are... Peruvian food after all. The place seemed to get busy later than expected for a Sunday night and seemed to be a lot ofneighborhood folks coming in that hadn’t been in a while. Over all the menu and food was similar to that of Fresca, justtrimmed down menu, which I find better to keep ingredients fresher. Food was decent over all as we did clean our plates, serviceseemed like they needed just one extra bus boy. Didn’t get a refill on water until we asked for the check. Good forneighborhood spot but not enough for me unfortunately. Read more
