Title Abuse it?s not an Afghan restaurant!\nIt?s Missouri restaurant\nTo be fair there is no connection between Afghani... restaurants and this place, nor Kabab neithe Qablee has no taste of Afghan traditional food.\nThe fact is that this restaurantwas from Mahmood Karzai right after he died the other ???? dawoodzai took over and they serve alcohol not sure if all the foodsare halal. This place has to be one of the best kept secrets in SF. I?ve driven by a million times and tonight I decided to finally stop in... for dinner. We had two appetizers and two entrees as well as dessert (the Baklava was unreal good), and everything was AMAZING.The prices are so fair, especially considering the amount of food, quality, and niceness of the dining space. I admittedlywasn?t super familiar with Afghani food, but the owner was more than happy to walk through the menu and give recommendations andhis recommendations were spot on! Lastly, there are vegetarian options for a bunch of the dishes which I thought was really niceand accommodating! Can?t wait to come back. Read more
I walked in after 9pm because this place was one of the very few still open in the area. The owner, Hassan, was very welcoming... and the food absolutely delicious! The big portion of Qabeli (steamed rice with very tender lamb shank) was just what I neededafter a long day.\n\nWhat I also noticed is that on the menu they?re offering a vegetarian/vegan option for every dish!\n\nWillcome back when I?m in San Francisco again! This little Afghan restaurant is a treat. The dishes were very nice & tasty, although mine could have been hotter. Also we\'ve... had some language barriers, but that didn\'t hinder our overall good experience & food. Also the patron is very polite & nice tochat to. We would visit again & recommend it. Thumbs up! One of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco! I stopped in here the other night as a solo diner while spending one night in... the city before my flight the next day. The recent renovations to the dining room turned out really well. The food is still asdelicious as I remembered it. The bright modern touches really spruced up the space and set a tone that matched the quality ofthe food. My lamb chops were delicious as was everything else I ordered. I can?t wait to return with my friends that appreciatesuch cuisine. Read more
The aushak (leek ravioli) were so good we ordered a second plate. Nice quiet restaurant with great food much of which could be... ordered vegetarian. Lots of lamb options too. Don\'t understand why it was so quiet on a Saturday night. This place is amazing. Read more
