Possibly the worst sushi I've ever had. Didn't look or taste fresh, and had some other weird flavor. Also my order was missing... an item and they didn't read other instructions. Read more

This was an..interesting experience. I ordered online for pickup at 6. Online site works well and is easy to follow. I get there... 15 minutes earlier than expected, but figured I would see if my food was done. I walked in and it was finished, so I grabbed itand went. Got home, unpacked everything and was missing as roll. I called and the whole phone conversation was stressful. A lotof back and forth since she kept interrupting me, then gave the phone to someone else. I thought she understood that they forgotpart of my order, but when my husband came back he said they made him pay for it. I know language barrier can be reallyfrustrating for both sides, but I feel like of they slowed down and let me talk they would have understood what was wrong. Thesushi was ok, the ramen bland. I probably would have gone back if the communication wasn't such a hassle, but I don't think Iwill. Read more

This was one of the oddest dining experiences of my life. The food is passable, but not great by any means. The service could... really use some improvement. The atmosphere between the owner(?) and employees was downright awkward and there was no priorityput on the comfort of the customer. We heard multiple squabbles between employees within ten feet of our table and employeesshowed no awareness to customers--literally talking about or referencing us like we could not hear. We were asked multiple timeswhat we ordered by the waitress even though we literally gave her a menu with our selections circled, lol. One of the best partswas when the waitress would sit at her little table by the back and yell across the room to different tables: "do you want yourcheck?" A girl came in and sat down and she yelled across the room, "Hun, do you want a water?" A truly hilarious and strangemoment, but incredibly awkward to experience first-hand. It sounds like this place is a solid option for late-night sushi and Ican see how that would make sense. My one-star review is only meant to inform--I'm sure I didn't experience Jika at itsbest--but if this saves someone else from an incredibly awkward and unsatisfactory in-person dining experience, then it has doneit's job. Food was fine. I've only eaten here once, so I'm willing to believe it could be better (or worse). The service was not great.... The waitress appeared to make no effort at all to learn Japanese dish names. On the one hand, the waitress had some greatinstincts, but on the other hand acted pretty strange--forgetting our order, talking to the chef in a way that I thought wasdisrespectful, asking me what I ordered so she could correctly bill me. Also, the restaurant should have been cleaner. Maybe I'dbe shocked by most industrial kitchens, but we're all in the same room here, and it would be great if I could leave confidentthat I would not get food poisoning. While I would not recommend to a friend, if you're hungry and need a spot close by, you'llget food to fill you up. Read more

It would be a really nice place, but they have to work harder to make the service a really good. Very nice people but it’s a... little bit slow service. I didn’t like rolls, it’s kind of you trynna do at home by yourself, and ramen is good, but notperfect. I wish you’ll do better, guys. Read more

Apparently this place is more about delivery than eat-in. Or at least, that was our impression upon our first visit here. It was... 9-ish and a friend and I were strolling the street, we were worried most restaurants would have been closed by that time. Soseeing this one advertised to be opened until 1am, we were very glad. Plus, they seemed to have glowing reviews. The food wasokay. Nothing of particular good or bad. A three star experience I'd say. Not sure if because we ate at 9:30pm so it made thatdifference. But what bothered us was the waitress' attitude. She made it rather obvious that she wanted us out of the restaurantas soon as possible, making several trips asking if we were done. Well I'm sorry that we were not aware maybe the kitchen wasunderstaffed by that time, but your restaurant clearly advertised it to be still open. A rather disappointing experience, especially with service. Read more

This place is run by Chinese people who don't make good sushi or Ramen. First the sushi had too much vinegar added to the rice,... it was actually tart. The ramen middles were smushie, the broth bland. I ordered the slow cooked pork belly, the pork waschewy not tender. My kids got the bento box. It wasn't a bento box and there was very little food for $15, no miso soup, nosalad other than the lettuce under their teriyaki salmon. I definitely won't go back. Read more
