A small eatery nestled between the Twitter and Reddit office buildings. I decided to try out this place for a workday lunch. You... order from a selection of Udon noodle soups or curry plates at the counter. Then you choose a few extra toppings and sides toadd on to your base order. Food was great, portions were decent, and service was efficient. A satisfying lunch break all in all. Read more

Extremely disappointed by the fact that there is no indoor dining in September 2022. I had absolutely no way of knowing they... were only doing pick up, so I wasted time taking a bus there, wasted fifteen minutes on freezing, windy market street withaggressive homeless people, all so I could take it back home on the bus. The worst part is that this wasn’t even costeffective. I literally could have paid a whopping 4 dollars more to have it delivered. It’s honestly pathetic. Just open yourdining hall for Christ sake, it’s 2022, Covid is never going away, time to move on. Read more

The udon is good. Nice lunch spot for those who work around the area. It's fun to pay for food using Cash App and Square device... here given that the Square HQ is just next door. Read more

This is my favorite udon in all of Bay Area! The portions are very generous, the broth is flavorful without being a salt bomb... (which honestly most udon places are a bit crazy with their salt levels), and the food is always fresh and fast to come out. Myother favs are the beef rice bowl and the gojuchang chicken - DELICIOUS. Friendly staff too! Read more

This place was only for take-out orders. It was good to have Asian food nearby. I’d recommend Curry Udon. It’s really meaty.... I might come back if I’m craving Asian food again. Read more

So far Kagawa-Ya beats out Udon Time as for the “fast udon” concept restaurants. It really felt like I was back at those... udon shops in Asia - great noodles, umami broth, and tempura on the side. I’m glad we finally have these restaurants in SanFrancisco. Read more

You get your noodles super fast because it’s a cafeteria style restaurant where you pick up your noodle order, move through... the tempura bar for a topping, then drinks and cashier. Tried the curry beef noodles, the miso chicken and the spicy beef tantan noodles (the latter 2 are seasonal). My favorite was the curry beef and the tan tan. The pickles in the curry beef were sotasty and added extra dimension to the dish. They have various Japanese and Hawaiian soft drinks. Read more
