We came across the Kayma food truck in the Presidio quite by accident - but what a stroke of good luck. We had the couscous... with harissa, aubergine and mint tea, all of which were wonderful and authentic. It's so hard to find Algerian or Tunisiancuisine in SF - but now we have! We look forward to dinner at the Civic Center/La Cocina location. Read more

This place is absolutely excellent. I?ve tried versions of all of these dishes before, but what made it standout was how fresh... the ingredients were and how well-seasoned everything was. Read more

Had the food from the food truck in the Presidio. The fries were really good and the sauce was great. I would say it's a bit... expensive, but worth once in a while. Read more

i saw the kayma food truck today at the new presidio tunnel tops park, and i just *had* to ask them about their couscous ? i?m... always on the lookout for a better couscous. munir was so nice! we chatted about his recipe for a bit, and then, to betterexplain, he handed me a sample? sometimes, a taste speaks clearer than words. oh, my stars, this really knocked my socks off! itold him we?d be sure to pay a visit to the restaurant for the full experience, and guess what? i have a birthday coming up! The food is so good here. I got the Le coca filled with beef. Even after I got home an hour and reheated it, it was light and... flakey. I also got their house marinated olives which is so good to add on to the side of any dishes. I've had their chicken andcouscous at an event which is another favorite. The owners are super nice and welcoming. If you any questions just ask. Read more

Food and service were fantastic. KAYMA is a stall in La Cocina Market well worth the visit. I got a bowl with a side of olives... and an orange blossom lemonade. I'm very picky about olives and never eat black olives- but now I might be a convert! Therestaurant is owned and run by a wife and husband who took the time to learn my name and let me taste a sample of Algerian oliveoil (made from black olives). Thanks for a fantastic meal. Really amazing Algerian food. Owner is amazing! Had the Kayma Bowl with braised dajaj - chicken. And the green tea with pine... nuts. Will come back whenever I'm in the area! Read more

The dips are amazing. Get the trio of the aubergine, red pepper Hamiss and olives and some of their handmade breads, and you... will have a lovely sumptuous lunch. Update: ordered the chicken couscous, chicken salad and coca onion pie. Very good! Read more
