This is a new establishment on Diamond Heights, the furnishings are nice and the ambiance is decent. It's a small space, so it... gets a bit crowded when you are on the last table having to sit by the entry door. Overall is food is superb quality and theselections are great. Although the price is definitely on the high end and I don't think I can take the whole family here daily. It is definitely a treat, but if they come up with happy hour or weekday specials, I will definitely be a regular! I was just a tourist and I didn't know where to eat nice Japanese foods so I looked up on the Google map and found this place.... And I don't understand why this place got 4.4. This is not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The broth of ramen was not rich northick at all. There was no mango slice on salmon mango roll. Service is not good. On top of that... I found somthing in myramen........ I am not writing about that in details but my first experience for this place, which will be the last one, wasnever good... I hope they improve their foods and service. Read more

Came in with my family for a dinner we’ll never forget! The food was absolutely amazing. Sushi was divine, and this spicy... curry beef was the beef of my wettest dreams! Super flavorful, super tender. It tasted like great quality and pride was put intothese dishes, and I’ll be back next time I visit San Fransisco! Read more

Sushi was great. Giving 4 stars because I thought the restaurant itself was a bit dirty.

*2.5 stars* Stopped here because the ramen spot I wanted to try wasn’t open on Monday’s.. 1) the staff wasn’t rude but not... that welcoming or attentive. 2) the tonkatsu was delicious and flavorful. the noodles were the perfect thickness and absorbedthe broth but the noodles were mushy. I like my noodles with a bit of bite. 3) the chashu was bland, tough and dry. 4) thekaraage was piping hot, crispy outside juicy inside and very tasty. My friend tried the beef stick(blanking on the name) and itwas mostly fat and bland. I tried it after she didn’t eat all of it. Overall I was not impressed and will be trying the spotI wanted to in the first place. Read more

The food was really really good. The portions were very generous and I thought the prize was adequate. The only reason I'm... giving it four stars is because of the staff. The guy that took our order was cold and he was talking on the phone while doingit. Not really nice. Read more

The service was good and the food was amazing! The Niku Udon was so full of flavor and the beef just melts in your mouth. We... also got a side of chicken gyoza and that was really good as well! Read more
