10/10. Absolutely amazing Sardinian spot in Noe Valley. Get the baby octopus and the burrata. The prawns were out of this world!... Great service and clean plates with every course. Read more

La Ciccia used to be the best Italian restaurant in SF… Unfortunately, with the change of ownership that’s no longer... currently the case. We really wanted it to stay consistent and still hope maybe they’ll improve? The baby octopus stew wasalmost as good as usual but the bottarga pasta was really a big step down. The pasta was very oily instead of the usual creamytexture of the sauce. I really hope the place gets back on track, it was also half empty on a Friday night which never happens! Read more

Sweet little neighborhood spot with authentic Sardinian (Italian) food. We ordered too much food but it was delicious so not... regretted. Charmingly personal service. Why not 5 stars? Food presentation could use an update, as could the dining room. Pricesare on the high side for what you're getting. Read more

Bottarga pasta was the star of the meal; the pasta was so chewy and it felt like I’m having a spoonful of sea. I wish I can go... back and have it again soon! Sea urchin pasta was delicious too, but not too extraordinary. The roasted calamari appetizer wasgreat; the texture of calamari was soft and tender. Loved dipping the olive oil-based sauce with some breads. The housemadericotta with orange mamalade and a drizzle of honey was a perfect finish to the meal. Read more

I’m a huge fan of Italian food (well, who isn’t) but this is the first time I had Sardinia cuisine and… given the price,... the whole experience didn’t impress me much. I’d say overall 3.5-4 stars. The spaghettis and the lamb were nice but notsuper impressive, the portions were small, and the service was just ok. Well maybe because I just moved from Chicago where youcan walk in to any Italian restaurants and get top notch food with reasonable price—from hearty family restaurants to finedining, so my expectation was really high. But anyways, still a nice restaurant that worth trying, although I don’t really seemyself returning. Read more

I frequently ate here when I lived in SF. I went here tonight after new owners took over two months ago. Sadly it has... collapsed. The previous owners, an Italian husband and wife team, were perfectionists and the food awesome. Tonight food wasbarely mediocre. The appetizers tasteless. The pasta uninteresting. Even the wine was disappointing. The husband formerowner was a wine expert and would never have served the wines on offer. Bottom line If you remember the old owners and are herethen don’t come back. Not worth it Read more

Very nice restaurant. Not like the Michelin star restaurants, this one is very warm and more casual. Food is definitely amazing... and exquisite. Very tasty and special. Highly recommend. I think it is better than Itria. Read more

If you are a seafood pasta lover, definitely recommend this place. I personally liked the uni pasta, very rich and saucy. Fish... roe pasta, maybe i thought more of carbonara. If you dont like fish smell, probably try another one. The staffs are reallyfriendly, i think reservation is a must! Read more
