Lark is a really cute bar in the Castro. We came here with our dog and sat outside and enjoyed some of their tasty... cocktails. Reservations aren?t needed; however, there is limited seating on the patio. The service is very friendly andattentive. I would recommend stopping by for a drink and/or quick bite. Read more

We just popped in to this bar/restaurant on a whim after walking around Castro and we?re pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere:... very chill, laid back with a slight speakeasy touch. Wonderful drinks - we had the Ondas which was quite lovely especially ifyou like Mezcal. For food we tried the pizza and the olives which was a perfect amount of food if you?re looking for somethingthat can hold you over until a more substantial meal if you?re eating for two. The service was also great. We had two polite andattentive servers (wish we?d gotten their names) that were super helpful. Overall, a great place to sit and eat a full meal orto come in and have cocktails with your significant other. Highly recommended if it?s your first time in the city like ours! Read more

Rating this place one star because it does not have any plant-based/vegan items on the standard menu. This is both surprising as... well as disappointing both given the inventive nature in which vegetables can be prepared, as well as the incredible demand inthe San Francisco Bay area. While the space has beautiful decor / it?s very cute and on trend, it?s not the place I wouldrecommend for a meal (rather, a drink and conversation). Read more

Stopped in for a quick dinner and was pleased with the result. The hummus was good, could have had a bit more flavor though. The... prawns and lamb souvlaki were very good. I'm lactose intolerant and feta cheese is a nightmare for my stomach. The server wasvery aware of this and made sure we didn't order anything with feta or had it removed when possible. Read more
