Terrible experience. Called ahead to have a table ready for breakfast. Arrived to find out they did not add us to the list.... After telling us they were preparing a table for our party - on Thanksgiving morning! - and telling us to wait for 20 minutes, they changed course and told us they were only seating hotel guests. Also they don?t seem to know how to communicate. Therestaurant manager is the least professional of the bunch. Read more

I had the Eggs Benedict upon server recommendation and it was amazing! The decaf coffee was also great. Will be going back... tomorrow for another delectable breakfast choice! Read more

Always a treat to visit the Fairmont to be greeted by William or Sean at the door, then see what's new on the Laurel Court menu.

We had an exciting birthday experience with Erin Callahan taking the lead on helping organize the event. She was flexible,... detail oriented and a real pleasure to work with. This is one of the very few times that I could turn up and enjoy since Erinhad taken the lead. It goes without saying that the Fairmont will be our ?go to place? in San Francisco. Thank you for a perfectchampagne afternoon tea! I will certainly be reaching out to Erin again! Read more

We were here last winter to see the gingerbread house and went ahead and had dinner at the restaurant. I had steak and my wife... had fish if i remember correctly. The food was nothing special, for the hefty price i was expecting a lot more. I would gosomewhere else. It is an old hotel in need of major renovation. It feels and kind of smells dingy. 2 stars is apt foreverything, ambience, taste, presentation, service was slightly above average. Average is what you get from a regularrestaurant(e.g. fog harbor, pacific catch) Read more

Gorgeous restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel. Loads of history with the painted murals on the wall. Had the best Eggs Benedict... ever. They made it with shaved ham and the eggs were perfectly poached. Great service. Yes, it's above average cost for abreakfast but was worth it! Read more

Came here for the afternoon tea. Comes with a pot of organic tea of your choice, 5 savory sandwiches, 2 scones, and 5 sweets... served on a 3-tier platter. The food was fabulous, very light and tasty. The waitress was very attentive, asked us whether weneeded water to refill our tea pot. Wonderful ambiance. Read more
