George, the owner, is great. The service is phenomenal. He goes above and beyond in all aspects. We went in for a quick bite and... ended up staying for several glasses of sangria (which is to die for and better than a lot of the sangria I had while inBarcelona)! Absolute must to stop in for food and sangria! You definitely need to do the cheese platter. He caters for eventsalso, so keep this place in mind! Read more
My girlfriend and I were visiting friends and stumbled onto this place. It is an absolute Gem! The $5 sangria rivaled ones I?ve... had in Barcelona and the cheese board is unreal. The food was excellent, the service even better. You can tell they take pride in this place. Top compliments to the chef! The... seafood pasta was exactly what I wanted to enjoy after a day touring the city. The goat cheese falafel was a nice twist to afavorite. I needed a quick bite to feed the kids near our hotel and away from tourist traps yet and interesting local fare.Thank you guys for taking care of my family! Wanted a quick meal (kind of) near the airport before my flight. My friend suggested this place and it looked good to me. I got... the duck sandwich and it was pretty good. The duck was tender, but there was too much mustard and the bread wasn?t reallytoasted. The greens mixed in whatever dressing they had in the sandwich was good though and so were the fries. South San Francisco eateries we found out about Mangiare near Candlestick Point. George (the owner and chef) was so informativeand friendly, the decor was good but the food...well the food was well beyond our expectations!
