Having recently moved to Brisbane we have been actively seeking a nice "city" quality restaurant near by. After trying many... South San Francisco eateries we found out about Mangiare near Candlestick Point. George (the owner and chef) was so informativeand friendly, the decor was good but the food...well the food was well beyond our expectations! Well thought out and crafteddishes blending many southern Mediterranean cultural flavors to produce exquisite delights for the palate. Do not miss the bestever flan for dessert! Read more

George, the owner, is great. The service is phenomenal. He goes above and beyond in all aspects. We went in for a quick bite and... ended up staying for several glasses of sangria (which is to die for and better than a lot of the sangria I had while inBarcelona)! Absolute must to stop in for food and sangria! You definitely need to do the cheese platter. He caters for eventsalso, so keep this place in mind! Read more

My girlfriend and I were visiting friends and stumbled onto this place. It is an absolute Gem! The $5 sangria rivaled ones I?ve... had in Barcelona and the cheese board is unreal. It was so good we did a little mini catering for our friends. The service isfun, professional and a total joy. If your close by, definitely come in. Read more

Great little hidden gem that we found on our way into the city from the airport. George was delightful and had great... recommendations. Food was top notch and the wine recommendation was fantastic too. I look forward to trying it again on the wayhome. Read more

The food was excellent, the service even better. You can tell they take pride in this place. Top compliments to the chef! The... seafood pasta was exactly what I wanted to enjoy after a day touring the city. The goat cheese falafel was a nice twist to afavorite. I needed a quick bite to feed the kids near our hotel and away from tourist traps yet and interesting local fare.Thank you guys for taking care of my family! The beer selection even impressed the husband. We'll see you again next time we'rein the bay area! Read more

Wanted a quick meal (kind of) near the airport before my flight. My friend suggested this place and it looked good to me. I got... the duck sandwich and it was pretty good. The duck was tender, but there was too much mustard and the bread wasn?t reallytoasted. The greens mixed in whatever dressing they had in the sandwich was good though and so were the fries. Overall, it?skind of hidden in the Candlestick Park residential area, but it?s a decent place to grab a bite. Read more

Enjoyed the food, drinks and most of all - the ambience - it was perfect for the Christmas party! George and his team were... amazing with balancing drink orders, passing appetizers around and ensuring dinner was prepped well for everyone to enjoy. Ihighly recommend this venue! Read more
