We, a family of five, were on a casual trip to San Francisco city. Feeling hungry, we got into this restaurant after seeing a... 4.2 rating on Google. It proved to be one of our worst experiences. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, we smelled astink, probably someone inside or close to the place, must have smoked. There were flies or tiny insects flying around. Twopersons were inside the kitchen. One of them showed up only after we made some noise to draw their attention. We ordered twostarters and four different curries. The items arrived fairly quickly. None of the curries had any South Indian spices orflavors. They all seem to have been cooked with ketchup as the base. They tasted similar and ordinary. The starters too tastedbelow average. Only the nan was normal. All in all, the restaurant is not for those who are familiar with Indo-Pakistanicuisine. It might be okay for those who try south Asian cuisine once in a year. Read more

You get what you pay for. Cheap indian food gives you cheap interior decor and poor cleanliness. Food tasted very average as it... does at a small indian place. Nothing i had not tasted before with a common tomato gravy. Might be something new for anon-indian who has not had a lot of fancy and expensive indian curries but that was not the case for me. Very affordable and quick service. The place is very run down though. The bathrooms were kinda messy and smelly too. The breads... were ok and the navratan korma gravy was weird. It made me feel sick afterwards. Maybe it was the masala levels. Read more

I love this place for it's QUIET elegance and delicious food. It's so hard to find a restaurant that is nice for a date but not... trendy and loud. This is one of my husband's and my favorites and I've lived here almost 30 years Read more

New update with new photos: I don't know about you, but I OMG I love this place it feels like Home to me they cook from their... heart especially the chicken tandoori menu, the Naan "Fresh Bread????" and the home made two yogurt types! As a local guidefrom Google, for me, I can tell you this is one of the top-rated restaurants of the thousand I tried in the area! ------ Oldreview half a year ago: First time here...and I don't write very often that this place deserves a 7-stars. You get a perfectdish with reasonable prices from a family business so all in one! If you are in San Francisco you better try it. The best foodfor me is the "Tandoori Chicken" served with white rice plus a side of homemade yogurt & a piece of bread. Read more
